Again, two years late, but I thank you for covering this. Because I am a nutter and love supers, I also wrote Super Mission Force and Super Skirmish Gaming, both systems trade a bit of detail for smoother, faster play. Also, Crossover Miniatures make excellent super figures in 28mm! Thanks, again!

You should film more videos. I rather enjoyed your example combat on the rooftop terrain.

You know, for the Asian pyromancer, you could get a winged, humanoid dragon mini. It would be in honor of the "police sketch" of her seen in the background of one of the comics.

Looked into it. It's Ryu no Seishin, and I accidentally amalgamized her sketch on page 16 and her appearance on page 26. Oops.

If God protects fools and drunks, why then is His word full of warnings against both? Proverbs 20:1, Proverbs 24:9, Galatians 6:7.

That is a good question. What can I say except, the Lord works in mysterious ways? Tell you what, God willing, if I ever get the chance, I'll ask for you.

@@TheJoyofWargaming you don't have to wait until you're before His judgment to get the answer, it's already in the Bible. Proverbs 23:29-32, Psalms 107:17-18. He doesn't protect them. Galatians 6:7.

Most of the Superhero games that I am aware of are RPGs and not miniatures. That being said, besides the various ones from Four-Colors Studio, most Superhero games are IP's (there are the Heroclix's, Knights Games (Batman & DC), and the Marvel ones.) I don't know anything about the following, but Ganesha Games has one called "Power Legion" other than it requires a complete set of polyhedral dice, so it isn't based off of their "Song of..." system. Having said all of that, Savage Worlds RPG was created from a miniature wargame, "Deadlands Great Rail Wars", so it is still heavily influence by miniature wargaming (ranges are still given in inches, blast templates, turn angles, etc.) not seen in typical pen paper RPGs as the author wants you to do proper miniature movements for combat. The author did write a miniature wargame long before he wrote the RPG game. There is also a later miniature game rules for a Gothic Horror steampunk setting called, "Rippers" which was an attempt to reintroduce miniature battles to RPGers, but it didn't sell very well and they dropped it, but you can still get the PDF of it. Anyways, Savage Worlds has superhero powers / rules in their core book, and they just released a Supers power supplement updated to the current rules. I have run Savage Worlds as both a RPG and as a miniature game and while it is not the best at some things, I like it. The biggest problem for you will be it will be hard to run more than a couple of supers, since you will be playing solo (mooks are much easier if they are all the same and operate as a team and not independently). I found that a typical player can easily handle their PC and usually a few mooks / NPC sidekicks fairly easily.

This might help some, with what you can do, but this is based on an older version of the system. It is not a great review, but the only one that I can find. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/btGBqNN00LOVlGg.html
