Hey, everyone. Just a couple post-release notes! First, apologies about any audio inconsistencies. I recently got a new mic and I'm still getting used to recording with it. I tried my best to edit the audio so it wouldn’t be as noticeable, but there’s only so much I can do with what was recorded. Also, I wanted to mention something I missed when making Rosaria's weapon. I forgot that she snapshots her burst, so you won't be able to use the extra 12% Crit Rate for her A4 passive or personal burst damage. However, the weapon passive is a dynamic bonus, so by the end of the burst, she will be able to provide extra Crit DMG to your party, assuming you have the extra Crit Rate substats to surpass 100%

We can literally just grab Rosaria's burst and use that as the weapon model

Rosaria's current signature is the dragomspine spear because i said so

It breaks my heart that Rosaria will never get a signature Polearm like the spear she has in her art because she is a 4* 😢

I love the weapon concept though I think an er weapon concept for sucrose would also be good for better er management sense you already get so much em from the goblet Circlet and sands

As a Yunjin Enjoyer - fair, a DEF spear is juicy and an ER enhancement gives you stat flexibility to tailor her build a little more, mostly to build even more DEF if you aren't insane. Buuuuut I'd love to see a kit glow-up for her expand into something less straightforward. Her main buff is constrained with both a hitcount and timer limit; something that extends that envelope and/or leans into her other niche mechanics would be super cool. Since IIRC every character on the team gets their own counter for her burst, I'd love to see burst duration extenders so you can maybe get some sneaky utility by swapping in another support for a few fav-proccing or stack-building buffed normals and then into your normal-attack carry. Something like - stacks on the weapon passive = ATK+DEF boost and burst duration; build stacks with successful counters or crystalizes ... or passive: picking up a crystalize shard takes 2s off skill cooldown and adds 1s to burst duration ... etc.

I should add that I would like to see two weapons for Razor: one for elemental mastery (pretty hard to beat Mailed Flower) since his strongest team since 3.0 is hyperbloom/burgeon, as well as physical--his old theme before dendro. Otherwise great video ! I really like how you talked about how other characters could use the signature weapon. I would also nerf Sucrose's sig to being only Anemo reactions.

The Rosaria signature weapon concept is amazing. I guess it would be overpowered if the weapon can also crit. rate share below 100% CR. Maybe the weapon's substat could also not be CR? But eh, you did the math, something I'm not great at. I'll just trust you on this one. Likewise, the Sucrose signature is great as well. And unlike Sacrificial Fragments, which only she can maximize, your concept can be maximized by other catalyst users as well like Nahida. What counts as a signature weapon is wonky anyway, especially for 4 stars and a few 5 stars. I'd say the closest Rosaria has the Dragonspine spear, but nobody's really building her as a physical DPS anymore, nor any other pole-arm users. So the spear and Crescent Pike are underused. Sucrose has Sacrificial Fragments, a weapon whose entire kit she could actually use. The skill reset would have been good on Barbara, but her skill doesn't really do damage so the EM is wasted. Nahida could use the EM, but her skill's cool down is low anyway. And finally, Yun Jin has Dragon's Bane. If it were Lithic Spear instead, at least it would make some sense since she's a Liyue character anyway. Well, the red handle of Dragon's Bane looks better with her so there's that.

Back again with another long-winded comment that likely will not be read but hey, I'm mostly commenting for myself anyway. In case anyone is reading this i consider myself knowledgeable about meta and the game in general and as such my opinion is objectively right in all cases no matter what. Trust me thats how this works. I would think that these weapons should outperform r1 5* at r5 given that they are, in my mind, supposed to be weapon banner exclusive and at r5 the normal ones are supposed to compete with 5* options whereas these ones would trade being more specific for power on that specific character. Yun jin's feels very utilitarian. It see's a "problem" mainly her high ER requirements and solves it by letting you focus on defense fully while getting your ER from the weapon. However, a lot of her energy is gonna cone when she doesn't have the passive up as in most teams she only gets 1 e per rotation. Even if that was fixed, however, I wouldn't love it. I would rather it focus on providing an additional buff to teammates NA, since her burst provides multiplier buffs and her cons provide damage percent and attack speed, perhaps basing a buff off the teams attack speed bonus would be interesting, though the attack speed comes at c6 so i don't like the idea of basing her sig on it much. The better option in my objectively correct opinion would be to just have it buff crit on NA after you fulfill an requirement. I prefer defense as the substat due to it working too well on other characters otherwise. I regret to inform you that Rosaria's weapon simply doesn't work in freeze. Her a4 doesn't use conditional crit rate such as blizzard strayer or cryo res and going well over cap on her just to use this weapon would be a bad idea unless it was so op it made up for it, at which point in rev melt and on anyone else who can use it, it would be broken beyond belief. I think you could instead focus it on personal damage and give her crit damage for over capping (with it somehow working with blizzard strayer and cryo res) and it would make for a great sig. As for sucrose, I like it in concept, im unsure about the execution. Keep in mind everything i say from this point is based on gut feeling and no evidence, but if this is Sucrose's best weapon over sac frag in on field teams then it would easily be Nahida's best 4* and might have a chance at beating out her sig. That is unless she doesn't really get the buff due to her being the aura and not the trigger, but in any teams where she is triggering reactions this would be insane. I totally sympathize with the problem you have coming up with 1 that beats out sac frags in on field teams without being bonkers on anybody else and i think the only way of doing that may be making it swirl exclusive like hakushin, just better. I don't love the dmg% as that steps on Kazuha's toes too much for my liking and this would make her easily outshine him when she isn't driving, due to the damage percentage from this weapon being higher than what even kazu can provide. As such my best idea imo is to give it a buff to elemental reactions triggered by this character euther through em or a base damage buff or whatever. But make it about her reactions and not who she is buffing as that will leave the door open for Kazuha.

I think doing yunjins weapon the other way around would be a better way to go. Make the substat er and then the passive boost def for .48% for every 100%er

the only 4 star character that i can think of that has a signature weapon is fischl and its for physical fischl lol oh and i know this is unrelated to the video but i seriously want nilou and yoimiya to have other signature weapons.I know they already have but the demos of the characters dont even use them and you know who also doesnt use their signature weapon on the demo klee and she got a four star weapon that looks like a signature weapon for her so what i want is make nilou and yoimiya 4 star weapons that are fit for their kits and looks goods with them

Hoyo will never do these things. What they want to do talking about "enhancements" is crap and nothing more. They have no interest in making these things, because if they wanted, they for sure have already done them.
