Dude that's the most beautiful version of Disney Girls I've ever heard. Loved it.

It is a great 👍 rendition of Bruce’s song “Disney Girls.” I must learn more about it.

Love this content. It’s wonderful to have two people discuss the writers, musicians and all involved (PR, management, kids, family members) that impacted The Beach Boys music. Wonderful! Thank You!

Riot in cell block 9 was originally done by a group called the Robins, not the Coasters. It may have been covered by other groups from that era, but the single version, the one played on the radio or jukebox, that was the Robins version, and the one the Beach Boys would be most familiar with...

@@matthewhartzmusic1your channel just happened to pop up one day, it was the episode about the little girl I once knew single, which seemed odd to me, & one of those Beach Boys topics I never see explored in detail. Enjoyed it, but wasn't planning to subscribe, till I scrolled through your playlist and saw full hour episodes on every BB album, so after a couple of videos, I subscribed, definitely the best BB channel in terms of detail & obscure facts most others overlook. The live fiddle music intros are great too. Having a co-host for the podcast is a good innovation, and gives it a unique Student/ teacher perspective. Enjoy your endless summer, looking forward to the next podcast...

Love your podcast and I immediately dug out FEEL FLOWS to focus on the Student Demonstration instrumental with background vocals, and it's brilliant. I had kind of skipped over it on FEEL FLOWS. Thanks for your insights!

Beautiful rendition of Disney Girls. You guys are very talented! I might have missed it, but I was curious about your thoughts on the (at the time) unreleased Dennis tunes that were left off the album. I prefer the MIC mix of WIBNTLA, but I love the extended portion on Feel Flows.

thank you so much, Jason :) my thoughts are pretty much the same as others on the issue - could have been an even stronger album with some Dennis tunes :)

Hmmm - is 'Take it to the limit' nabbed from Disney Girls..?

What are the original lyrics to Beatrice from Baltimore?
@matthewhartzmusic12 жыл бұрын
If I'm not mistaken, I saw them in David's book - I'll have to find that to let you know - I know they are in one of the books

@@matthewhartzmusic1 I need to read more of the literature on The Beach Boys. I haven't really read any honestly.

Brian burst into tears upon hearing Jack’s vocal because it was so bad it was painful
@Gabriel2oh6 Жыл бұрын
Brian wouldn’t have used Jacks take if he thought it was bad. Jack isn’t a singer but his voice brought the right quality to the track lol
