YoHo National Park was an unexpected surprise! The military museum was an incredible experience and to meet the first pilot in the Western world to fly the Soviet Mig 29 was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. As soon as we can get a new motorhome we are getting out of the cold and never want to be in the cold again unless it is an emergency. Yes it could be so quiet you might hear the banjo playing. Lol

Wow the campground you were was nice and beautiful. Nice with the snow. Snowing in May is different. Hope fully spring will come to Canada. Tucker loves the snow. That museum was nice. Nice to learn of the prisoners of war. I think Canada is a beautiful country. That thing you were sliding on looked like fun. But hard to climb out of. Hope you have a great weekend and week and great 4 of July! See you soon!

YOHO is a very special place. You’re a little early for the Mountian wild flowers which are amazing. Glad you enjoyed the dusting of snow. The Great Escape was a great movie but as you say loosely based. Glad you’re enjoying our neck of the woods.

Great video, loved your happiness n enthusiasm, put a smile on my face. I think it was in 2007, but at bow valley campground, may long weekend, woke up Saturday to it snowing, snowed all day long pretty much, trees where weighted down by the snow, never forget the 😳 factor of the amount of snow, had to dig out the travel trailer lol. U just never know 🌨️❄️ lol. 🍻

Very cool to follow your journey. I lived in Edmonton for 12 years and know the areas where you are well, having done a lot of hiking and touring there. I sure hope you can do the Banff to Jasper highway. It is the crown jewel of the Canadian Rockies. I took my RV to the Yukon in June about 6 years ago. Northern BC has grassy shoulder areas beside the highway that green up before the surrounding area. This attracts bears and buffalo, and you will see a lot of them. You are driving right past Destruction Bay in the Yukon. You can do an aerial tour of Kluane National Park and the glaciers if you are so inspired. You actually land on a glacier at 9000 feet and get out of the airplane and walk around for 30 minutes before flying back out. Mt. Logan, the highest mountain in Canada dominates the background from the glacier. I have done a lot of cool things in my life, but this flight was just incredible. The company I flew with was excellent, and is called Icefield Discovery. They can be found online to check out their flights and prices.

Fortunately we took the Banff to Jasper highway. It was Amazing! Should be in next weeks video or the follow week. Funny you say that about the bears as we were saying how many there were in those areas alongside the roads. Wow, that sounds like an incredible flight. We have a flight coming up soon in another area but will have to check this one out. Thanks so much for the suggestion!

We just returned from Alaska on a 2 week land/sea tour with a local travel agency. We are from HOT Florida and went for cooler temperatures and hopefully to see some snow. While the scenery was beautiful, it was so hot! We were very disappointed because we wanted the total Alaska experience. Thankful we never had rain though.

That's crazy you had hot weather. It's been cool/cold with little to no rain this whole trip. We are very thankful to have so many nice sunny days. Glad you were able to enjoy this beautiful part of the country.

Snow in the Rockies? Oh yes. I was in Banff/Jasper last year for 2 weeks, last week of June and first week of July. My nephew was there with friends just a couple days before me. They did not get to visit Jasper because Jasper had a record breaking snowfall for those dates - 18". The road was closed for a few days while it was plowed! It can, and does, snow every month of the year.
