I too suffer from depression and anxiety. My family and friends were shocked when I told them that I have been struggling with this for years because I am the life of a party. Always doing and saying goofy things to make people laugh. I was told that is called the Robin Williams Syndrome. I can understand that. I love how the Crazy Pieces Family let Hallie, Max and Joe know they are not alone and how the kids are being taught to have compassion and understanding instead of making fun of them. They have great support system. I wish a lot of families are like them.

Omg Edna, I say the same thing, "if you only knew what and how much pain I'm hiding behind this fake smile" I say it differently whenever I say it, it's not like that's something I go around saying daily, but yeah I do say something that has to do with "if people only knew what this fake smile is hiding". I suffer from deep depression, severe anxiety, PTSD and really bad insomnia. As of right now I'm literally going on 52+ hours without a minute of sleep. My brain doesn't know how or when to shut off. Anyways, please stay safe and healthy doll. 🙏💞 XOXO

Cyber hugs…I had a very bad…worst ever 2019…I lost my step Dad in a horrific and graphic way on Good Friday and then, my brother…my best friend 3 days before Christmas and the night before I was going to pick him up to stay for a week for the holidays. It was also just before my step Dads birthday that he passed…I had planned a special party with his brother and sister flying in for it…had tons of gifts wrapped for his birthday and for my brothers Christmas….having gifts wrapped for people and loosing them twice in the same year…I literally had chest pain of grief and had to concentrate on breathing…it does get easier with time…I still cry because I miss them sometimes…but the shock and remorse…for time lost…insane smothering grief fades….slowly…each day was a struggle…now, just some sad moments and happy memories….we had assumed my brother passed from a bad seizure…he had epilepsy- Covid made an appearance here just two months later-we wonder if maybe it was here before we knew it-very likely as he lived in Melbourne Florida-close to Fort Lauderdale where all the ships come and go all over the world and Florida being a tourist state….he had said all of his friends had had a very bad flu and he thought he had a touch of it-but, then he felt better and was looking forward to coming to stay with us for the holidays. I lost a beloved cousin….sweet as pie to Covid in 2020….in an ambulance on the way to the hospital…lI am so very sorry for your loss…hang in there…❤️❤️❤️

Everyone has mental health. It's just as important as nutrition etc. It's not something that should only be discussed when struggling, if we don't speak on it in all instances, good bad in-between, it's very hard to speak on it when it is really bad. We need to make it a habit of discussion in constant, normal everyday conversations. Love this. 💕

I have to say, what a kind gesture that was for Joe. As someone who struggles with depression and anxiety, more often than not I feel empty, like I’m always searching for purpose, love, acceptance. Depression can really mess with your head, and convince you that people are pushing you away even when they aren’t. Things can feel different even if they are exactly the same, because emotionally you just aren’t in a good place. I often feel very insecure, and doubt myself. Small gestures mean a lot too, but a big gesture like this, and something so meaningful, brought me to tears. You two are such incredible people. How truly blessed you all are to have one another. ❤️

I also have severe anxiety and depression. I'm in therapy now and on my medication. A few months ago I wouldn't dream of saying this but life gets brighter, Joe. I was in such a dark place for years but I'm feeling so much better. You got this, Joe. You aren't alone in this. The anxiety and depression community is so large. Those of us that have been blessed enough to come out on the other side completely understand. Praying for all of us that are dealing with mental health issues. We got this!

Thank you for raising awareness. I just talked to my doctor to deal with my dysthymia (low grade depression) that I haven’t been able to shake on my own for way too long. It was scary to admit that I needed help. Asking for help is huge. I know that Joe going back to something he genuinely loves to do is going to be so healing. You guys totally rock. 💖

My eyes were sweaty, not gonna lie 🥺 I love it how you guys are so warm and welcoming to anyone entering your hone and make them feel loved and wanted at the same time. Kudos to your family for being so open and using your platform to address mental health. I have been dealing with depression the majority of my life and you really lose yourself in the midst of it so I understand what Joe goes through. I had to cut my entire family off to free myself and it's been a journey to find myself again but for the first time in 32 years I can say, my true self is coming out again ❤ Thank you for addressing it and being vocal about it. Joe seems like a good guy that and this surprise genuinely put the biggest smile on my face. You guys are some heartwarming, amazing and loving people. I love your videos and always feel like I am a part of it ❤❤❤. God bless you all 🙏

Joe is such a great guy! He helps out and has a ready word for the children. Giving him the bike now gives him a great focus to take him away from the mental health issues that plague him. Yes, I know all about it. Mental health is so important to recognize in your life and get some help in dealing with it. Friends, family or even a therapist. Such a wonderful gift! Happy trails, Joe. Be safe! Hugs to the family! Yes, that includes Joe!

I have PTSD, anxiety and depression (all diagnosed) due to the trauma my dad caused me as a child. I appreciate your channel so much, even more so when Halie was advocated for, didn't expect you to bring awareness to mental health again so I'm super appreciative. Too many find it a trend, or a joke.. it's serious and the feelings are so hard to get rid of. I'm so thankful for suicide hotlines and families like you that take your platform and do great things with it. Love you all and God bless ❤️❤️

That was such a beautiful thing to do. So emotional. It meant so much to me as my son has suffered with anxiety and depression all his life and he now has not left the house for 5 months and barely comes out of his room. He thinks he is faulty. having that kind of support from people who he felt cared would make so much difference. Joe is lucky to have you. life is tough and you always make my day xxx
