Having people on the team who can speak Mandarin is a huge quality of life boost for interacting with foreign vendors, or for doing these travel segments. Speaking a company's native language breaks down a lot of barriers that might otherwise cause problems.

Steve is a good friend and a great boss. I'd probably cry if someone just gave me a 4090 as a surprise gift. Yesterday I received my Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC and I was very impressed with the size and heft of it. The thing is a beast. The 12VHPWR is a very odd connector. Glad I had all four 8-pin power adapters on my 11 year old XFX 850W PSU. I'm planning on hooking up my desktop to my 65" HDMI 2.1 capable 4K 120Hz TV to take advantage of FreeSync and VRR.

I highly suggest going to the smaller vendors right around that mall ( I mean like right next to them) as they have excellent stock on every PC component available! (coolpc is the vendor I recommend) The vendors you are going to arent the greatest around there. Bussines guy wasn't being very honest with you guys, I was there maybe 2 days ago....

base on what I can make out, they charged you for the gaming OC model, which is the 59k price tag but gave you a windforce card, which is probably a good like 2 to 3k lower

just to clarify seems some are confused, Windforce is the lowest tier < Gaming < Gaming OC < Master < Xtreme. so they originally gave the windforce when Steve paid for the gaming OC, it's nice the merchant when back to fix the mistake!
