Sorry I mentioned that the battery pack weight in the car was 17kg. It is actually 38kg according to technical docs I've seen. Anyway thank you for letting me share my experience on the car. I don't know of any buyer who regretted buying one despite its price.

Hi this is a nice interview to watch. Do you know why there is a burnt smell coming inside the cabin when I floor my 1.5T HRV?

@@ginodavisno idea. I would advise you to bring your car to your Service Centre to check. Could be something related to your exhaust system.

4000km in with the ehev. Fuel consumption is very very good with 4.5L/100km. Do agree with the understeering when I took it up Karak! Added in a thicker anti roll bar but not really felt a big difference. Currently facing an issue with the steering making a clicking noise during deep turns especially when reverse parking. Also, those Regen braking paddles are quite useful and find myself using it quite often but do note the Regen braking does not trigger the brake lights.

The regen braking does trigger the brake lights, well it does on mine you can see them come on in the little car on the central dashboard.

Great idea to do the Good and the Bad ... and look forward to more! This is real life review, warts and all!!! Need to sort out the video quality as the constant focus shifting was problematic and distracting. But, a great overall review.

exceptionally informative cost. i have one question about the e-CVT fluid replacement, is it every 48000 kms or higher than that? Thank you.
@AzraiRazuan
@AzraiRazuan 2 ай бұрын
According to my maintenance schedule it is every 150,000km!. This fluid only has 2 main function which is to lubricate the reduction gears and cool the electric motors. The demands on the fluid is far simpler than in a CVT, DCT, or AT type gbox hence the fluid can last a long time.

@z1az285 2 ай бұрын
@@AzraiRazuan Many thanks for your quick response. thats great to hear. thats a huge difference from a CVT, though i thought a AT was similar in duration (100000 km) if not the same.
@tails300

@@z1az285no, automatic transmissions need more frequent fluid changes because of friction material from the clutch packs causing contamination. eCVTs contain none of those parts, just interconnected gears.
@z1az285
@z1az285 2 ай бұрын
@@tails300 Yes, but the reason i mentioned it is because the fluid interval change in my 2001 VW passat was every 80000 miles (automatic transmission). it was the same fluid used in audi. i changed it twice (80k, 160k) and the car lasted 250,000 miles

Quick question, I bought the Civic with approx. 3900 km directly from the dealership here in Germany. Initially the on-board computer showed a range of approx. 520km, now it shows a range of 600km (I consume an average of 5.4L/100km. Every time it notifies me to fill up (approx. 50km still available), I only ever fill up with 30 litres. Is the reserve that big? Honda told me that for safety reasons the display drops to 0km much earlier than usual, but we're talking about just under 10 litres here, which would still be almost 200km with my consumption. Looking forward to your feedback!

I have the same "issue". biggest fill up for me was 34l and the on screen computer was showing 4km left :). So I guess the reserve is just that big or software is calibrated like that.
@MarSer3
@MarSer3 Ай бұрын
I only managed like 33l when it showed my 30km to go. My avg consumption is 5l/100km. My range estimation after i fill it up is on avg 750km. It is a bit frustrating that i cannot fill past 30-33 l as i would welcome higher range. Also have problems with seats comfort (2023 eHEV Advance in Europe, hatchback) and I also miss thigh support. Michelin sport cup tyres definetly noisier than winter tyres (kumho). Probably I will look for some all season quiet tyres. Rear camera also is very low res lack of electric hatch turning circle is too wide back seats center arm rest is very low, flimsy such a small glove compartment infotainment software needs to improve, have problems with wifi connections, with radio setup, how to i delete a radio station?? many things to optimize there

I normally drive 140-160 km/h. Will it be better for me to purchase turbo spec or thie ehev spec? Will the ehev spec still good in fuel consumption compared to turbo?
