People who own real estate wants to stay in Canada. Most people leaving Canada is probably new immigrants who didn’t know about inflation or the ones who left stayed long but still don’t own real estate. Since now it’s sky rocket. For the guest it shouldn’t matter if he lives in Canada or India since he wants to start business and no mortgage. He’s free bird and it makes sense to move to cheaper country.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Even owning real estate in Canada, inflation/health care/opportunities are still some issues even for people who have been living in Canada for several years

@@DesiReturn Owning real estate count a lot. I own 3 properties including my residence all fully paid off. That is multi million $ in assets. Along with professional jobs (CA & wife FRCPC). For me no inflation matters. I am not going to throw everything we achieved here and move back to India. I have friends and relatives here too.

One's reason to move back should be rationale and not emotional. The strong why and whole family on board determines the success of the transition.

You have to understand that they are competing with or against Canadian or western educated people. Hence your skill set should be good enough. Just saying qualified people does not amount to much.

Canada and India differ significantly in terms of quality of life, children's education, air pollution, and healthcare system. Here is a comparison between the two countries: 1. Quality of Life: Canada is consistently ranked among the countries with the highest quality of life. It offers a stable political climate, strong social safety nets, high education standards, and excellent healthcare facilities. India, on the other hand, has a lower quality of life in terms of various factors such as income inequality, access to basic services, and infrastructure development. 2. Children's Education: Canada has a well-developed education system with high standards. It offers free education up to secondary school and has numerous prestigious universities and colleges. India also has a vast education system, but it faces challenges in terms of access to quality education, especially in rural areas. The quality of education and infrastructure can vary significantly in different regions of India. 3. Air Pollution: Canada has relatively clean air quality compared to many other countries. The government has implemented strict regulations to control pollution and promote environmental sustainability. India, however, faces severe air pollution issues, particularly in major cities. Factors such as industrial emissions, vehicular pollution, and agricultural practices contribute to harmful levels of air pollution. 4. Healthcare System: Canada has a publicly funded healthcare system known as Medicare, which provides universal coverage to its citizens. It offers essential medical services, and individuals can also purchase additional private coverage if desired. India has a mixed healthcare system with both public and private sectors. While India has made progress in improving healthcare access and affordability, there are still significant challenges, especially in rural areas. It's important to note that these comparisons are generalized and may not capture all aspects of the countries' specific conditions. Various factors can influence the experiences and quality of life of individuals in both Canada and India.

People thought it was free money, but people are now realising that they have lost whatever equity they had in the hope of owning 2 or even 3 homes.

Do you mean interest rates went up and people are under the bus now?
@A__SB
@A__SB 2 ай бұрын
@user-ut8st4su8x Yes, people borrowed thinking interest rates will remain close to 1-2 %. And that they can get out by simply selling the house, expecting the prices to always go up.
