if I had a nickel for every dissapointment like this id be a millonaire. the camera system the combat system wow they just suck and for some reason the devs think right is left (mouse clicking is opposite to all other games) this feels like youve gone to a switch from a playstation its that different and unintuitive. in saying this this game is far superior to PZ which is the game with the least flow ever at least these devs realised that the menu within menu spend more time clicking than playing bulshit of PZ seriously just play dayz and all these tryhard z games just feel like unimmersive unfinished shit piles

I love pz for reasons like those tight situations ,like when you are stuck in a building surrounded by zombies with your friends but in this game there is no bite mechanic which is what makes pz so intense so hopefully it will be added or modded

It looks like it could be a very good game but the pve could be improved and it's a bit like the early versions of pz many mechanics are missing but with some updates it may become a very good game ❤ Also really good video

the sharpen and contrast is so strong.. also if there is a FOG effect or CLOUD SHADOW moving on the ground that will be cool so it will not look flat

This game reminds me of "How to Survive" an old ps3 game I used to play back in 2013 or so. People compare it more to Project Zomboid nowadays because everyone forgot the OG.

i will try i try all survival games but am mostly dissapointed as I play dayz which despite its flaws makes all these other games just seem tired and unfinished you should give dayz a go its worth it

My only request for the game so far would be different ways to manage camara rotation, If I can make it work for moving the mouse left and right just rotates and the up and down on mouse changes the effective aim distance..

That note at the beginning was a bit too much "tell not show," and made it seem like the PC has somehow come to the apocalypse late. 17:38 A top-down, isometric game really needs some auto-transparency for moments like these, when your character is blinded by intervening overhead terrain which is in *your* way. I also *much* prefer Project Zomboid's "learning by doing" system, as opposed to an arbitrary skill purchase system. I do like the aiming system, except it looks too forgiving early on. Enemy survivors are a fantastic addition for a game of this genre. Lots of promise, but mebbe give this one a little more time to develop. ='[.]'=

It looks good and i almost want to go pick it up, but I'm hesitant because i don't like how you just randomly are getting attacked by wondering zombies nor do i like that the zombies are sprinting. The combat also looks clunky. But the gun play looks far and beyond better than PZ and the fact there are hostile human npcs is awesome too.

@justpreston5583 it feels floaty and a bit more gamey. Like with the ecception of the take down combat doesnt feel like combat. Mix that with the respawn mechanic and it just feels less tense. Dying just means being tansposed a few city blocks so its not as worriesome as zomboid.

I know it ss early access but why would I pkay this when there are already amazing great established zombie games like project zomboid and seven days to die. It has a lot to overcome to make itself a trademark.

As someone who is new looking to get into pz, I hope i didn't butcher it by providing the wrong acronym 😅, that yea with 0 zero in anything like this i notice the refinment of pz and its mechanics but this has its own identity to shine with but i cant see me playing this till i play pz for myself to compare i dont have pz atm but i do have plans to get it and try cause i whatched almost 5000 days of in game time in not just your videos but throughout the community and its so much fun to whatch but i fear it will be not as much fun to play as it is to whatch but the only thing i see here is the missing target indicators like i wanna know what zeek im hitting so i can methodically think of my action plan to kill the horde otherwise stah frosty.

COmbat in games like this would be way more satisfying if you could block attacks like Skyrim. Bash to interrupt attacks and do a roll or something to better avoid getting hit.

You can’t block but you can interrupt the zeeks animation with an attack to keep from getting hit

sorry but its dumb as hell when there are trade items in game, car salesman perk for trading, yet no trader in the game "where people say A5 numpad 4" and it's not only not there but no where on the entire map.

@@roguespath6887 There is a wandering trader, traders that you can call in with the CB radio, and if you want to catch the wandering trader before he takes off, get to A5 right away

Ngl, this looks like another EA cash grab like Zed Zone, I'd beware before shelling out $28.99 (Retail price in my region is the same price as Project Zomboid)

Yeah I have to say this comment was a bit harsh from me. But I am in the discord following the progress, and as of now they don't have Dedicated servers (Apparently that's on the road map with an aim to implement before the end of the year) and there is no mention of MOD support, even the game is made in Unreal Engine and should allow for even easier modding than PZ. I'm still on the fence with the price tag, I'm not really after a Single player experience, I know it has Peer to Peer, but all my online friends live on the opposite side of the world, so Peer to Peer just isn't feasible for me. I'll continue to moitor it though, Game does have a lot of Advantages over PZ, for example the fact it already has AI NPC's. It's the Server and Mod stuff that's really holding it back imo. But yeah early days, if you can afford the current pricing and are happy with the current limitations I'd grab it, but I'm going to wait for Dedicated Server hosting before I pick it up, I can wait a year or 2 for MOD's haha @@MrCveedub

@@kani5970 I only started playing PZ like 3 months ago, so none of that really matters to me. Difference is, PZ came out in 2013, looked better then than how this game looks now, and again, that was a DECADE ago. This game looks like a mobile game. Why should I give this game time to develop? Why don't they just develop a game that looks good? You're talking to me like you're one of the developers and you're personally upset by me sharing my opinion.

From editing the vid it reminded me a lot more of Survivalist Invisible strain, it's got a bunch of the same features but Survivalist is a fair bit more developed at this point as it's a sequel and the game's a couple years old at this point
