Survive and thrive in a post-apocalyptic future - resources are scarce but opportunity calls. Build the ultimate disaster-proof colony, protect your colonists, and restore civilization to a devastated world.
Build and manage a colony of survivors after a world-ending event. Construct more than 61 unique buildings to handle everything from resource collection and farming to exploration and security.
Explore a vast procedurally generated world featuring six different biomes filled with resources, wildlife, rival societies, and more. Each environment has different conditions that affect your colony’s survival. Stay vigilant: Natural disasters, dangerous animals, and bandits will put your survivors to the test.
Recruit over 80 unique Specialists, each with their own skills and motivations, to manage your colony’s resources and production. Send them beyond the Gate on scientific missions, scavenger runs, and to fight bandits.

Just started last week on this game and I thought I was going to have to delete another outpost because I didn't understand it passively gathers xp/ or resources and thought I needed to build it upon the actual settlement. You've saved many specialists lives, thank you for your service!

@@PastHisPrime1 I would like to have PS4 Anno 2025, Bannished,Ostriv,and Dawn of Man.Most of them are on PC,but Anno 2025 and Dawn of Man,are on PS4.And Dawn of Man can be downloaded from PS store,but my still favorite civilization building game is PS4 Cities Skylines.PS: KZfaq has mentioned Cities Skylines 2 coming soon

Great video, have you ever had your engineer outpost lock up and stop generating resources? If so do you have any advice?

I haven't had them lock up but there are parts of the quest where they stop them working and make you do some additional tasks before starting them again. Are you sure that hasn't happened in your game.

yeah but how do i change where i want to build them. like i can only build in plains which is kinda a pain in the ass. Do i have to reseach them or isnt that possible

I can build outposts anywhere on the world map depending on what resource is in what sector. Does your game not allow that or am I not understanding your question.

how did you get your specialists to be able to move 12 per turn?

I can't remember exactly but I would guess that it might have been from an Embassy reward. I think one or more of those give extra movement.

What happens when you loot the whole map? Do the locations respawn?

From all my playthroughs they do not respawn and the map will eventually be empty except for the outpost items.

i can't bulid outpost scavenger to get fun box why? it work for me when i build for resarch points

There are a couple of reasons I can think of that might be the cause. You can only have one outpost in a sector. You can't build an outpost in a sector that has another society. I assume the sector you are building the outpost in actually has a fun box cog symbol and not a standard fun box symbol. Let me know if any of this is the cause.

How do i make a science outpost? I don't have 42 minutes 😒.

You need to have an outpost depot in your colony then create a settler. Take that settler out to the world and find a research building and then take them to it and choose to convert that settler into a research/science outpost. There are timecodes in the description of my video allowing you to jump to the section you are interested in. Research is at 11:20. Hope that helps.
