@mazdakmina94933 жыл бұрын
LOL True. But this wasn't off-script. He and everyone on the production team unanimously agreed to do this (make this challenge an impromptu tribal council and get Brandon off the island immediately)! They went through potential scenarios that might occur. They coached Jeff on how to de-escalate this particular situation, and so he came into the event completely prepared! I agree that Jeff *also* is also a great improviser! But yes, this wasn't improvised (which I actually think is even *more* amazing. The producers of the show, including executive producer Jeff Probst himself, didn't "almost let a fight happen" and barely escape. In less than an afternoon of planning, he and the entire production team planned out an entire scenario that *made sure* a hostile situation didn't turn into a physical one. That's professionalism at its finest)!

@wordlifeecw Жыл бұрын
I'm probably in the minority here, and I haven't watched the season since it first aired nearly ten years ago, but did Phillip really do anything that bad to Brandon? From what I recall, Brandon fell on the wrong side of the numbers at the first tribal and took it super personal. Yeah, Phillip's a self-unaware nimrod, but all I remember is Brandon doing confessionals in episode 2 about torching the camp and pissing in the food supply. And re: mentioning the kids, what he actually said was, "I bet you talk that way to the aunt who's taking care of your kids", not saying anything about the kids themselves. Like, I know Phillip is universally disliked, but I don't blame him or Brandon for what happened here. Production really should have thought twice about casting Brandon again. The signs were there during South Pacific that he had something going on mentally. He shouldn't have been brought back.
