Iberostar Selection Cancun - The Perfect Beach Vacation

The Iberostar Selection Cancun is very impressive.
It is only 15 minutes from the Cancun airport and located in hotel zone. But how it differs from other hotel zone resorts is that is is situated on acres of land, so great for strolls, finding private areas for a beach chair, swaying palm trees and gardens, so you do not feel cramped.
With 426 rooms, the building itself is not that big, but this all inclusive resorts offers so much.
Your kids and teens will love the water park, and activities, and golf enthusiasts will enjoy the 18 hole course - only a 5 minutes drive by golf cart.
My room was comfortable, and the view stunning.
Susan's comments: this is perfect for Destination Weddings 100%! Great for families with younger kids. And perfect for golfers.

Thanks for watching. The kids are is suited for maybe 8 and younger. So older kids did swim in the bigger pools

She said every day she woke up. The weather was beautiful. My sister and I traveled there last year to Cancun, but not at this resort we stayed at Planet Hollywood, which is a newer resort not too far from this one. It was beautiful. Everything was purple, even the swimming pools. Anyway, last year when we went in 2023 the weather was really nice no rain. We went in April 29 to May 5. Perfect weather this year we’re going May 8 to May 15 and the weather is around 90° and beautiful as well! Enjoy your vacation when you decide to go.😃

Great video Susan. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much h, Steve S

Thanks for watching. There are elevators in the main tower. But no golf carts as this area is very easy to walk. Some restaurants are in the lobby. The walk to the pools is easy to navigate. Good luck.

Thanks for watching. The Riu Cancun attracts a younger crowd so more lively perhaps. It has a smaller footprint. Iberostar Selection Cancun is more quiet, lots of space to wander through gardens and the beach is much larger here.

Thanks for watching. I think is new vs older. The Iberostars are not new properties, and they don't offer swimup rooms. Some Dreams are new build so sleek. But food and drinks and experience is about the same.

Hi Susan! Which hotel did you like better Iberostar Selection Cancun, or Paradisus Cancun? We can’t make decisions where to go on vacation this year.

Thanks for watching. You would enjoy both - superb beaches, pools. But Paradisus has better food, dining options and taste plus upgraded alcohol choices. But the pool at Iberostar is massive.
