I really like the theme of this restaurant i could see kids liking it too with the train that brings the sushi.

Theres one similar to this in Chiba, JP. I joked to the staff "Does that train come all the way from Osaka?" The next time I went, they still remembered the joke and apparently it was a running joke that if the order was taking a bit, that it was because it was coming all the way from Osaka on the Mini-Shinkansen.

Anyone else gasp and whisper to themselves "that's a lot of wisabi... " when he took like half!

I wouldn't be able to stop myself from saying "choo choo" everytime the train arrived.

I’d assumed you’d tried it before- I haven’t, but I’ve heard that it’s a very strong and acquired taste, and that a lot of people (especially non-Japanese people) don’t like it at all. I hear it’s very good for you, but the strong smell and taste, as well as the weird texture, make it very hard to eat.

I’m surprised that you need to pay for that tea even though it’s free refill...in Japan sushi restaurant it’s always complimentary along with ginger pickles. And I’m a natto lover!

This place looks so fun! The closest thing we have here where I live in the states that I'm aware of is conveyor belt sushi places.

This restaurant looks really interesting. We have similar kind of restaurant in India (hyderabad). The difference is that it serves indian food and it's not a bullet train but a locomotive which runs on broad guage track in ur table.

Thank you for being my KZfaq guide so when i get older ill be able to go to these places.

Imagine the train moving as fast as the actual bullet train, not only you would not get your sushi but you would also lose your fingers in the process

When I was a kid they had a diner here in New York that delivered your food on a model train!

Genki Sushi was my go-to when I was in Singapore for 2 months. I might have actually been to this place and sat in the exact same seat.

Omg I LOVE sushi. I live in tulsa oklahoma and we have a restaurant here called sushi train and it's similar to this except a train goes around daily slow with maybe 8 different kinds of sushi on it and each sushi is priced different and is on a different color plate and that's how they know how to charge you by how many and the color of plate so you just take off a plate as it passes. It's pretty fun. I buy my own salmon normally because with the amount of sushi I eat I can't afford to eat it out all the time lol. I normally order a 3 lb sushi grade salmon half once a week. Slice it up and put it in sandwich bags and it's gone in 2 days lol. I'm not big on all the rice except the spicy salmon roll. I just love the raw fish. We have a chinese buffett we go to and I've gotten to know the sushi chef and when I go to the counter he takes my plate and puts 10 or 15 pieces of salmon on my plate. It's awesome.

Hey DancingBacons. you know how okinawa has the fish markets where you pick your own seafood. Then bring it to a chefs stall to have it prepared. Are any of those near you? If so that could be a cool video. You select all your favorite seafoods from the market and then choose your favorite style of cooking.
