Refreshing to watch tapings of interviews/questions before it all started. Good job. The sea has thrown the worst at you and you are still here to give it another go. I would say go again. Respect.

As to the comment from Shea divine this is not about being good enough,what Susie has done is an amazing achievement. She has put herself in one of the most remote and hostile environments on earth , only someone who has done this is really in a position to comment. I suggest a good book to read to get a understanding of this is Robert Knox-Johnston’s A world of my own.

The question I would ask Susie ...and the other competitors who failed is....are modern sailors good enough? I think not.

You need to look at history to compare and I think you will find it all the same now as it was back then...some are some are not...that is the way of the world and not finishing is not a failure..... Don

@@donmcintyre6037 Not finishing a race is indeed a failure, otherwise just call it a cruise and give them all a medal. However! I would nod Shea divine in the direction of Roosevelts, "man in the Arena" speech which I think makes the most important point and sums the GGR and its entrants up perfectly, or as the case may be here...a rather lovely woman.
