I am really enjoying the recipes I am researching! Learning so much about how food habits have altered and how cleaver people were then and had no Google to rely on !! I could not believe that potato’s where s thing only got the rich initially!! We love this recipe it tastes amazing and freezes well , thanks for commenting xxxx

Looks delicious Susie, a lot of ingredients and effort though, but again another success I’d say. John would give Stephen Spielberg a run for his money with this production 😂

That gave us both a chuckle 😂 he did not want me to do this dish as he felt it was too many ingredients and also a long video time !! But I said I really wanted to put out at least one special dish for a special occasion, he has loved eating it and agreed it is very different. It is back to my short quick vids now though 😂😂xxx

Looks a lovely and warming dish. I like the idea of the fruit but some of the spices I would probably leave out as I wouldn’t use them again like junior berries, cloves, cinnamon sticks I would probably just use cinnamon. But, all the fruit sounds delicious. Definitely the pressure cooker for me.

Hi Dorinda , yes you can play around with dishes like this one and only put in the things you like , the pressure cooker did cook it very well ! We found that next day the flavours had become more or less the same as the dish cooked in the oven ! I think my next patch will be cooked in the pressure cooker xxxx

Wow another amazing dish. I love pork but my husband doesn’t like it. But I haven’t cooked pork like that. ❤

Hi Janice, not sure he would think it was pork 😂😂 I have a much simpler dish coming in the next couple weeks that uses beef but also has a fruity flavour he might like that xxxxx

Crumbs there is a lot of goodies in that pot, I bet it tasted good however. Thanks for sharing.xx so sorry your still struggling with your back . I think at times it’s nice to have something special, maybe not an everyday dish I agree. Maybe more flavours cooked together in the casserole dish , maybe same amount in pressure cooking would taste the same.

It was very interesting, the quick cook pressure cooker did a brilliant job and the flavour was good but the long cook did have a lot deeper richer flavour . I think it has got to be how much time you have 😂. Yes it is a lot of ingredients!!! But it did give us something really different and so much flavour ! I have started physio now the Doctor referred me , I am hoping that it starts to sort it soon xxxx

@@cookingwithsusie I am thinking of getting the pressure cooker , to go with the normal one. I think you do need two to enable to do most things, and the pressure cooker will help with bigger joints etc I feel . Are you happy with yours .

@karentoynton8948 at first I thought it was complicated !! Because the dual draw is so easy !! But now I would be lost without it !! I don’t use the steam and roast mode much 😂😂 although everyone says it is great !! I use the slow cook on it a lot and the pressure cooking also the thermometer is great when doing a roast as it tells you when the meat is cooked. I find the air fryer useful but u cannot shake it the same way you can the draws and it is also quite a big machine and quite noisy on airfry . It does bake cakes well and bread . I would say go and have a look at the size of one before you buy it xxx

Hi is it possible to do a stew by just removing the insert tray from basket I have the dual zone ? But I am also looking for a glass casserole dish what fits into the tray if you have any ideas where to get them from love your channel by the way

Thank you Richard , I have bought glass dishes I use in the ninja , I bought mine from Amazon 7inch x5inch for the small ninja which is mine . You may have the larger one the 400 ! You can get glass dishes for that one too . I just cover them with foil a tight seal on the foil to stop to much evaporation and keep checking your casserole fluid level it does work . Although I am a fan of the electric pressure cooker which cuts the time down so much !! Thanks for watching xx

Have a look on Amazon I got I think it was five in a pack with lids which then can be frozen . Oh but I make foil straps that go under them as they are a pain to get out when hot and I have had a couple of burns !! Xx
