Hi mate, I recently bought an ignis as a first car but it’s the 1.3 not a sport so the oil vapour pipe runs into the air filter and goes into the butterfly valve from there, if I were to change the stock air filter box for a performance cone air filter (just for a bit of fun and sound) would I need to somehow redirect the oil vapour pipe into the butterfly valve by connecting it to the new tube that connects the cone filter or does the oil vapour and warm air need to be filtered itself?? Love the vids by the way!

Hi mate Depends if the kit you buy has the feed in for the breather pipe, I tried a universal kit that didn’t have a feed, so I just drilled my own hole in a sealed the breather pipe / although the sound was good, it actually felt like it lost power. So - yes mate you’ll still need to feed the breather pipe in as it is at the moment / personal I’d put a panel filter in and drill the air box 👍🏻

If you just put a small air filter on the breather is there gonna be a Problem?

Hi mate - you would just get a bit of oil vapour going into the filter - all depends how hard you drive the car mate
