I left my 660cc Suzuki Jimny turbo kei car outside on a cold night, and wanted to show how it handles a Canadian cold weather start! Music by bensound.com

any typical issues you have had to address with your Jimny?

Well, I'll hopefully have a video out soon about a serious repair I'm undertaking. So it's not drivable!

@@brandinstoesz2028 could you tell me what happen? I'm currently importing a jimny now it's on the boat

No problem, I have a broken exhaust valve. Sounds like it's not an uncommon problem on the K6A engine. So it didn't leave me stranded, but it was down on power.

How does your jimny drive in the snow

It handles great in the snow, the tires from Japan weren't great in the snow but I replaced them with some Cooper AT3 tires and it made a huge difference!

What size of tire are the cooper AT3. You are using.

They are 225/75/16. So basically an increase of 2 inches in diameter as well as width. I didn't need to lift it, there was just one brake line bracket that needed to be bent a little. They fit great!

I am located in British Columbia, so my laws might be a little different, but I was just wondering if you had to do any modification for it to pass the out-of-province vehicle inspection? I heard you might need to replace headlights and brake lights. Did you need to do any of that sort of stuff?

Great question! If memory serves I believe the lights may have had the appropriate markings, but I'd need to double check. Fortunately the headlights are just a generic 6 or 7 inch circular light, so replacement should be fairly straight forward if necessary. I'm out of town at the moment, but I can check the lights in a few days.
