I just binge watched your T500 project. When i was 17 a brochure of this bike was the closest I ever got to one. It is a classic and your patient restoration skills are brilliant. Thank you for sharing and deciding to do the full restoration. Your video style is excellent, straight to the point and relaxed. While waiting for the next installment of the T500 i will check out your archives.

Later clock's was a stock issue for Suzuki. Parts catalogue shows R and J for 71. J being the later model which came out in Japan half way 1971 but the earlier clock's were used up so thy used the later ones. they also did this with many parts which were the end of year models..

Okay thanks for the explanation. I did wonder why some had the early clocks and some had the later clocks. I’m glad that’s the case because as you know the early clocks are very rare in good condition. 🙂

Good evening where do you source your parts please.

eBay mostly but also if you have a parts book (if not you download one online)then you can find the part number of an item and then see if it’s available at Fowlers of Bristol or any Suzuki main dealer 🙂

@@mcmechanic864 thanks for the information. I've just bought a 1969 mark 2 titan American import. I'm busy restoring a 1975 rd350 b american import should be ready for spring. Then I'm going to start work on the titan. You're videos are very informative. Thanks again.
