This Dl1000 is on my wishlist☺..have ridden sportsbike for 24 year..suzuki almost all the time..bought myself house and got a family..bought a k4 DL650 and i am sold...it handles norwegian roads like a dream. im using it for touring, commuting and fun.

a couple of things I appreciate and wish other riders would emulate about the way you ride, you use gear choice to govern your speed and you ride a pace. not too fast on the straights, then powering through the turns. anyone can go fast in a straight line. also you know a lot about the road you are riding and vary your speed according to the known hazards. balls out speed is for controlled environments, not public roads. well done

Gotta love our DL1000's! They handle better as the speed increases! Very top heavy at low speeds however, and it takes a skilled or taller rider to maneuver it.

I recently sold my tl1000s with full yosh exhaust and bought a 2008 v-strom 1000. I sure miss the sound.

Just watched your video, I've had my V-Strom 1000 for 9 months now & like you I'm sick of looking at that stock muffler, so have decided to get a slip-on, it's come down to the Arrow or the Yoshi, will probably go with the Carbon Yoshi like yours as I think the carbon won't get as hot as the black stainless of the Arrow, also I think I like the look of the Carbon Yoshi better. Another most important issue is the fact that I'm going on a 5000K round trip to Phillip Island for the 1st round of the world SBK leaving in a weeks time, & my bike shop can probably get the Yoshi within a couple of days as I definitely want it for the trip ....
