Improved power, sound and weight - all from a simple motorcycle exhaust. The Yoshimura R-77 slip-on exhaust is simple to install and has nothing but good things going for it. The tailpipe can be ordered in different materials, including stainless steel or carbon fiber. Find the one for your bike here: www.jpcycles.com/exhaust/yosh.... Yoshimura builds the R-77 with a special trapezoidal shape that enhances looks and offers a ton of volume inside for sound-dampening muffler packing. As part of Yosh’s street lineup, this motorcycle exhaust meets CARB and EPA emission requirements. We installed the pipe on a 2012 Honda NC700X and shaved almost three pounds - a 31% decrease. We also tested the sound levels throughout the rpm range and found between two and four decibel increases. The exhaust note is noticeably deeper, and the few extra dB allow the bike to be heard in traffic without being obnoxious by any standard. A two-bolt installation doesn’t get any easier - literally making this a 10-minute job.

Have one on my 1290sdr. Nice and quiet pipe, looks good. Don’t expect a lot of noise until you get into the revs.

I got a full R77 4 into 1 yoshimura system for my zzr1400R/zx14r and its really well made and the finish is 1st class the weight saving over stock is huge I wouldn't have any thing else on my bike

dell boy i was debating getting that for my zx14r. But ended up buying a pretty much new akrapovic 4-2-1 from a guy in the fb group. Hope im not disappointed since i love yoshimura

Little tip. If you're going to use the insert you're going to have to punch out a hole for the set screw on the pipe inside the muffler.

Why is the screw hole still sealed up on these? Where you screw the silencer baffle in? At 1.24 you can see it. I just got some for my bike and noticed the same thing....why!

+Zinisster If you were to add a new exhaust to your new bike, I'd recommend using a fuel pack to adjust the fueling!

just wanted to say something also some exhaust slip-ons require you to remove the lead coller that is located where the pipe attaches to. I had to do that on my VFR 800.

Easy to put on sounds good, but that also makes it easy to take off.. so i wouldnt let my bike stand too long in public by itself.

Yeah I just literally caught someone in my local Walmart trying to steal my muffler he broke the bracket. I am so glad I caught him before he took my whole exhaust. So yeah slip ons are an easy target to get stolen unfortunately...

the stainless steel on the exhaust is garbage. I got the R77 and in 1 month it is showing spotting on the stainless. not cool. I keep my bike garage stored and covered when I'm at work.....

Dude nice vid but you sound too on-edge - like one of those hyped salesmen, who don't really care what they do, as long as they get $$$ . Still, a like from me. Just tone it down. :)
