Buying one soon, I have seen a few dealerships offering the new one (turbo auto) for R379 000 + , really love Suzuki's, bought a new Suzuki Swift 1.4 GLS Auto face lift in 2015 and I have put 105 000 km on it, it has never let me down, not to mention after sales support from Suzuki Bramley is always fantastic, I will never consider anything else

Dated. Love the brand - super reliable. Problem is the cars look dated both in and out

Nice little review. 👍 I was just wondering if you have had the Vitara mild hybrid launched in South Africa yet? That gives an added boost when accelerating.

Nope, Suzuki’s never quite taken any hybrid bet here aside from the newly introduced Vitara Brezza which I think the GLX auto is specced as a 1.5 mild hybrid

Some people like to change gear and an auto can't,never could and never wil be hood for towing not even a normal trailo example Ford everest 10 speed auto but if u tow you must lock it in 6/7 gear the obsessesion with ratios is got to end I am a mechanic and it is like changing something like the land cruisers drum brakes to disc/drum combination it is much worse wears out quicker(cables as well)does NOT brake beter etc just leave somthing thats worked for 20/30 years

Sometimes I will put mine to play. KIA and Hyundai SUV owners are always keen in to show off their superb car, mock that Suzuki. Well I am playing with them, I accelerate back an forth teasing. this car is a ballerina, taking the speed up to 150 kmh / 93mph letting him pass thru watching his car swagging side to side like an old Hen then I will hit it igen placing me in front keeping it up in waiting for an uphill and then I will slow down the guy at the back is by this time furious coming in mighty strong haha he thinks now that Suzuki "thing" is running out of mustard! Well, thats the moment of kill. I will let the Vitara run up to about 170 kmh in uphill seeing the guy disappere. Vitara are one of fiew able to pull these stunts, premium cars will and police cars but ordinary family wagons will not.

@@bhekigiven6477 Look at the spec level, it is not overpriced, the model shown is the top of the range, if you look at a similar spec Mazda CX-3 which is smaller, that goes well over R 400 000, there is also significantly less CO2 emissions from the 1.6 or the 1.4 turbo compared to rivals. The only reason that not all Suzuki's have the new engine range is because of pricing, South Africans do not know when they are getting a truly good value for money product

@@TorqueMarius I will rather go with CX-5 or Kuga I think they are much better value I'm not saying Suzuki is bad is one of the great cars my father brought swift in 2012 and still driving it without any complications maybe I'm just a passive consumer I'm confused and easily influenced

I haven’t watched an Ignition video in a very long time as the video quality is just too poor on my big screen tv. Blurry, low resolution on all your videos. Still the case. So not wasting my time again.

Are you referring to the broadcast on television? Sadly thats not channels fault - we produce all content in full HD but haven't been given an HD channel for broadcast. And its bandwidth based too so quality is even worse on a weekend when DSTV has lots of HD Live sport being broadcast - its very frustrating as its out of our hands! I have asked channel to ensure the online uploads are in full HD quality
