Is SVG going to the CUP series with Trackhouse a given in 2025? There is a lot of Kaulig Racing speculation that they are free agent hunting... who will they land?

Red Bull I think are seriously looking at increasing their sponsorship of SVG. He drove for the Red Bull sponsored V8 Supercar team with great success for many years and even now, Carrie’s their brand on his helmet. Any team who signs Shane will come with millions in sponsorship money.

Bringing Red Bull back to the sport outside of being on SVG’s helmet would be great but I will believe it when I see it at this point.

Wouldn’t be the first mad move a NASCAR team has made. Six times a year he’s going to be great I just don’t think fans are ready for the steep learning curve he’s going to have on ovals. It’s going to take time and by time I mean years

@@KauligNationwho cares if he runs 20 something all year on ovals if he’s competing on the road courses. That’s more than what half the Cup field can offer. His fan base are not having an issue watching him run mid pack right now!

Justin Marks is all about SVG, I will be surprised if he lets him out again, but anything is possible, hope he goes well at Poncono this weekend, and gives us a top 10 finish.

I'm not sure track house wants anything to do with kaulig Next year. They're looking at Junior Motorsports for Their development driver

I think that is what we are going to see next year. SVG driving for Trackhouse, AJ and Zane driving for Kaulig in cup and Connor Zilisch driving for Kaulig in Xfinity.

Prediction: SVG is going to Trackhouse -period. Whatever balls are in the air still to land. They will make it happen. All the rest is just static. Trackhouse opened the door of Nascar to SVG. Anyone seriously think they are gonna let him be under someone else's spotlight? Prediction: SVG will attract enough sponsorship to make a ripple in the pond. Prediction: Red Bull will make an appearance on the bullfighting ring and SVG will be their matador. And Shawn: Respectfully...it will not take SVG years to learn ovals. You watch brother. And that's the kicker for me. He is going to surprise you mate.

I hope your right but if your not and I don’t believe you are with all due respect when he’s running 23-30th a lot I’m CUP the first year or 2 I hope you are willing to be patient

@@KauligNation It's all about the parameters used in defining what is unfolding. I appreciate your stance and it's perfectly logical. Most would agree with you....and understandably so. But.... Let's have some fun. I'll wager SVG wins a cup race next year. Let's put a beer on it. If I win you ship me a bottle of Canada's finest. If I lose I'll ship you a can of Fosters...(we export it for a reason)...😀

New nascar fan but i think sam mayer has done really well this season. Whoever gets him should do well. why can't Kaulig run two full time cup cars? Maybe the new nascar charter deal allows them to do that???

That's the hope! They should be running two full time cup cars. Kaulig has had issues with Sponsorship recently and that has limited their options. But with so much young talent available this year we think they will go back to 2 Full time teams.

It ALL comes down to the Charter Agreement. A lot of things will happen quickly once a new agreement is announced

@@ryanyount3250 🤞the problem with that is there no timetable on when a new deal is announced and may not happen until after the season. I don’t think a team like Kaulig can afford to wait.

Agreed, I can't see anyone else doing anything with charters until a new agreement is signed. I can’t help but wonder if some of the more…. Divisive topics, reportedly in the new agreement (3 charters for everyone but JGR and HMS, France family can own charters too) are just pawns put on the table to be sacrificed during negotiations. We all know the teams are asking for a 15% increase in their spit; I can see NASCAR say something like, “we are only going to give a 5% pump, but you can have 4 charters and the France Family can’t own a charter”. I can’t believe NASCAR really cares about 3 cars vs 4, and the France Family has never wanted to own cars before, why start now. The 45% spilt is what the teams really want, and what NASCAR doesn’t want to give up, I think everything else is just noise. But yes, nothing is going to move forward until Trackhouse knows where that 3rd (and maybe 4th) charters are coming from. And I still like the idea that Trackhouse runs Cup for both organizations and Kaulig takes car of the “B” Program. On a side note, have we heard who, if anyone, is replacing Xfinity (if anyone) as the “B” program sponsor?

Trackhouse will have 3 or 4 cars next year in cup (depends on the agreement). SVG will be driving one of these, Zane is the question mark. As you know, I’m of the opinion that it is in the best interest of both organizations to, if not merge at least formally align. I think all the cup cars (maybe 4 maybe 5) are built and run out of the TH garage. AJ would drive the 16 for Matt, but out of the TH garage, Zane drives the 31 for Kaulig but funded by TH. The 1 and 99 stay as they are and SVG drives the new 3rd charter for TH. Conner drives a Kaulig Xfinity car funded by TH, but built and run by Kaullig along with the rest of the Xfinity cars. Justin Marks is building a brand, not just a race team, Marks is a racer building a business, Matt Kaulig is a businessman with a passion for racing, these 2 things are not the same. In my OPINON Kaulig racing’s “get well plan” is aligning with TH. Also, I don’t think Chris is “lying” to us, I just don’t think he allowed to tell us the truth yet - because they are all waiting on the charter agreement.

I’m not sure NASCAR would allow that to be honest. Traxkhouse preparing a car once in a while is one thing preparing it all the time is unlikely to happen. Sounds like Connor is JRM bound which makes me think there will be no official alliance between Kaulig and Trackhouse cause if there was one there isn’t a chance he would go to JRM over Kaulig. Hopefully we know soon what’s happening. The longer it takes the less likely it will be a positive result for Kaulig.

Chris Rice said last week on SiriusXM that this is the last year on the Xfinity deal for SVG but will still be doing business with Trackhouse in the future. He was asked if he could elaborate and he said he didn't have anything to announce just yet but stay tuned. I'm thinking that means Zane or SVG in a Kaulig Cup car next year. My guess is Zane to Kaulig and SVG to 3rd Trackhouse car. Perhaps it's talks with Connor Zilisch for Xfinity if he doesn't sign with JRM

Ryan and I were just discussing off air the Kaulig Trackhouse relationship. It’s not an official alliance. Rice made that clear, so did AJ. If it was an official alliance than there would be no chance Zilisch goes to JRM but because it’s not an official alliance he sounds JRM bound. I’m all for Zane Smith on loan but I’d rather him outright be a Kaulig guy. At some point Kaulig needs their own young guy or guys to develop. The only guy they have signed long term is AJ.

Josh williams said on a podcast he has another year on his contract so he will be back, i do like the eches coming over, i do think zane smith shouldn’t be in the cup car maybe xfinity. Also if svg goes to trackhouse i see aj getting his old team back and getting back to his winning ways in xfinity

Ugh another year of Williams…. Hopefully it’s in a 4th car or they consider buying him out. He’s a wonderful team guy. A glue guy but ultimately a waste of a ride if you want to improve your program. This team desperately needs a pipeline. Williams is just paying for a ride which I get you need but he really needs to be a 4th driver.

@@KauligNation but he has also improved, i’d rather him in the car over hemric if i’m being honest, but as yall know just based on my post on facebook, ideally i want aj in the most competitive car possible cause he is the face of the team, but justin haley is proving his jump ship was smartest thing to do, kaulig has to figure something out cause that ship is sinking and it’s sinking fast.

That could work! As I was saying with the Charters hopefully they won't need as much Sponsorship help and that will make it a bit easier to get sponsors on smaller deals.

Succinct discussion. The domino we are waiting on is Track house. I am a fan of Sam Mayer. Agree Henric is not the right person for a Cup ride. In terms of Xfinity, what about a Carson Kvyapil? A young guy alongside AJ would work well.

@@KauligNation He drives for JR motorsports in the Super Late Model series and has made select starts for them in Xfinity. I didn't think about him because im confident he has an agreement with JR. But if he gets a full time opportunity that could shake up the Connor Zillich decision.

@@thefinallaps8333 yeah he is driving select races for JR. Not sure if he has a long term contract.. irrespective he’s the sort of talent they should be trying to put in a seat.
