Swallow Falls Wales | Snowdonia National Park | Betws-y-coed | Family Things to do in North Wales

Just getting around to posting this from one of our trips to Wales last year. This was just a little adventure on our way home from a weekend of hiking in Snowdonia. This cute town was located just inside the National Park at Betws-y-coed. We were a bit disappointed in the waterfall, because there wasn't much of a hike to it. It was right along the side of the road, through a pay gate for a small fee. The town was super cute, with a hiking trail along the river, and lots of boulders running under a bridge to climb and play on. We also found a rope swing along the path that we took advantage of!

Looks like a beautiful area. Perfect place to visit with kids with all the rocks to climb on and that swing near the water.

For sure! I think summer time I would wear a swimsuit and jump in off that swing too, we just weren’t prepared

Such a beautiful place. Love those great trails. I taught about Snowdonia to my students but never been there. I would definitely visit there one day. Thanks for showing around this great park.

Snowdonia is definitely one of our favorites since we moved to the UK. Every experience we have had there has been absolutely amazing!!

When I was five my parents took me to North Wales. When I saw Swallow Falls I asked them if this was Fairyland. Cymru will forever be my Fairyland.
