Trust me, as a dancer I can say it is so much trickier than it looks as it is extremely intense cardio for minutes at a time. They just hide it on their faces so well!

Anya your shoes definitely shouldn’t hurt you that much. Get with your director, you probably need something like lambs wool or better fitted shoes.

I don’t think people get the fact how hard this dance is, and the second thing is that you have to be COMPLETELY together with three other dancers like look at their heads, jumps, steps and everything is so synchronized..Oh I love ballet! I can’t even imagine what have they done to dance like that and how proud their parents were!

I love ballet too. I used to do it but sadly my parents took me out because they couldn’t afford it, I really wish I did get to do ballet more, though. Luckily I got an opportunity in sixth grade (just the basics, we also learned jazz and contemporary) I remember one of my teachers saying that ballet was so hard because you have to control every muscle in your body at once

Ballet takes YEARS to master and it's more than just dancing! Ballerinas should be considered as artists and athletes at the same time. Ballet is a realm of perfection and it gets bloody sometimes to achieve that

Everybody’s making jokes and they’re funny but I have to say that this dance is phenomenal.. so much technique and they’re perfectly in sync Edit: in response to comments below, I just want to say that I’m not a dancer so to me they look in sync and I really enjoyed watching this performance. I can’t even walk down the stairs without stumbling so anything coordinated impresses me.

Try a capful of rubbing alcohol in affected ear with your head turned affected ear to the ceiling. Tug ear. Wait 10 secs. Tilt affected ear to the floor and pat with toilet paper. Works better. Helps against swimmers ear.

I can't imagine how hard that would be. Not only the synchronization, but dancing without the use of your arms to propel you. It's all in the legs.

@@anonme_ the Soviet Union would play swan lake on radio and TV whenever something bad happened as a way of trying to calm the population. What I’m saying is hopefully they will feel the need to play it again because of a coup (or something to that effect effect) It’s not the performance of itself but rather some of the meaning behind the performance in a specific context
