.......yeah no it wasnt. Using the "office snake" (ugh) as a fear prop perpetuates a false stereotype about gentle and beautiful animals while also harming the snake. They are HIGHLY sensitive to sound and vibrations. I know its all show but screaming scares the snake. Even Rhett screams in the snakes face. Not cool.

No but see, I get it. We all think link is a psychopath with the knife and bat and stuff but think about it. Link has fears (snakes), but Rhett doesn't really have any strong aversions to anything. So to get that intense physical and mental reaction, they kinda had to think outside the box. Link gets his heart racing when he sees a snake, but Rhett was holding the freaking snake so there was no fear there. All of link's doings were just to make sure Rhett would create the same reactions and feelings as he did.

There is a experiment called "Rubber Hand Syndrome", you should check out! This is a different version of that experiment mostly same, but still genius. With this method too many phobias can solve. Untill now some soldier who still suffer pain because of their lost arm or leg, they can recover with this method. This is worth to watch as always. Thank you for this great video :)

A guy put his own hand thru a hole in a box, while a fake hand was also put there for him to look at and watched a knife come at the fake hand,the man would pull his real hand away as if he was thinking he'd be harmed like it fake one were his own. Because of the mind thinking instinctually. They help veterans and amputees with phantom limb syndrome by similar means.
