You should’ve ignored the soldier entirely. You guys didn’t drop a single team fight on attack and on top of that, you were against an Ashe and then a Zen later on, Kiriko is infinitely more useful than anything Mercy could’ve provided. There’s no point in listening to your teammate about swaps when you guys rolled to begin with

Lol it's surprising how many times you can still dominate with Junk by just going even more Junkrat against flying heroes.

I do this and my reasoning is because there's less splash damage being dealt to my team and less healing my supports have to do. It's not to "counter" junkrat, but rather to give us a slight advantage.

You see so many ppl swap tank to counter the enemy tank with no consideration of what the enemy dps or support is and those dps or supports will counter the tank they just swapped too

@@lruddy8820 Weird I swap tank usually based on how the support and dps are holding up. Like playing Hamster is fun but if your team just falls over right away without a tank in front sometimes you just have to switch.

In any rank really, your performance off of your main heroes dramatically drops off

You must play tank to understand what's going on in our heads 😂😂😂 We're just built to swap, if we're not counterswapping the enemy tank, we're swapping against bastion/ana/symm/zen or any other tank buster.

@@TheShapingSickness Oh, for sure. But our team was performing well, there weren't any major counterswaps on the enemy team... you gotta keep in mind this was a game in high bronze/low silver. I'm pretty sure our tank was just getting the fantods when we didn't stomp and felt like it must be his fault, because tank.

No one's holding a gun to your head and forcing you to climb to Masters. Your rank is there to give you a sense of where you're at, it's not a destination but your current location. I can only think of a few halfway reasonable arguments for playing tank, given that you prefer support: 1. Variety. Obviously nothing wrong with switching it up, if you feel like it. 2. Some sense of moral duty to help increase the tank playerbase in order to lower everyone's queue times. Which, sure, if that floats your boat. 3. You'd rather play with Gold teammates. Which I suppose is also understandable. For this one, however, my personal perspective would be to take that as incentive to climb, not as incentive to quit. I'd invite you to post a replay code or two, maybe there's something you can improve on that others could point out.
