Sand dunes is where the sway bars are terrible too. The wombat holes created by over inflated tyre travellers, that cause you to sway from side to side on the decent. Removing sway bars improves the drivers comfort 100%. No more sore neck from side to side wallowing. Great video 👍

You rubbed on the coil towers on a 0 offset. When you do have the track correction diff in place & ready to go, change the offset to -25 offset. It’ll not only give you better clearance on the towers but you’ll have better stability on the tarmac at full speed.

Good to see a 79 actually get wheeled on some tracks and not have 100k poured into it

Looking at doing a sway bar disconnect on my 2011 79, have seen someone put different pins through the sway bar at the diff housing with a hole in the pin so a 'R' clip can be installed for quick disconnect. I think the sway bar just gets cable tied to the chassis so no need to remove it completely 👍

Might be hard to explain I had a 105 series that is very similar set up in the front I dropped the rear of the sway bar down (to allow room for drive shaft drop) then I made a bracket off the bottom of the chassis drivers side to hold sway bar up then I just used loop pins to hold sway bar in bracket on diff and same pin to hold it up when disconnected I was running a 3” coil with a 10” travel shock hope that helps

I wonder if longer links from the chassis to the swaybar would help improve the flex.

Hey mate. Another fantastic video with the info I want to hear!, is that a factory sway bar or aftermarket?? Also. I decided to fit the terrain tamer parabolic 500-700 kg to my 2013 dual cab vdj, and on road it seems to be driving worse, coming from OME 500kg, seems rougher and a lot more way, I have airbags but no air in them currently what psi have you got in yours currently, and do you think changing the shocks would help at all?, thanks man!

What do you recon of the super flex arms with the swaybar in? Do you get more flex than the stock arms? Onroad still good?

They were so awesome the arms I had in that grey one, the gen 1 superior arms, yes flexed way better, maybe a bit lower but not noticeable.

Gday mate, awesome content as usual. I have a question for you. Have you ever had any wheel balancing issues with steel rims and a 315 mud tyre?
@TeamBulletOffroad

Yeh the odd wobble around 80km?h seems to be the norm unless your balancer is very picky.....

@@TeamBulletOffroad yeah sweet, thanks for that. I have a wobble at 80 that is slight but can get a touch worse. Seems to be very road surface and Temp related.
