(Swedish is a very specific language than italian, which is my native language and it is...mmmh yeah, it's very simplified for some aspects, but harder - LIKE HELL - and more boring - in a negative sense - for some other)

This video was so helpful! Tack så mycket! I've been studying Swedish for two years now, and I haven't been able to find any resources about sin, sitt, and sina. I'm so glad you made a video about it! I was wondering though, can sin, sitt, and sina be used with 'de (they)' ? Can I say 'de pratade med sin kompis' ?

Glad it was helpful! Good question. Only "sina" can be used as they. So the correct sentence is "De pratade med SINA kompisar" :)

Hello! I know this question is irresponsible to the video, but I had an accent question. I've been learning Swedish, and I've noticed some of the resources that affect my own speaking differ greatly from standard Stockholm Swedish. Specifically, with how "r" is pronounced. I often hear it as a very deep roll or trill, very similar to Arabic's r, a very heavy flap. Like the word "Ord", which in standard Swedish is said very similar to how we'd say it with an American accent, but in some dialects I heard it the "r" as very heavy flap or a on roll or trill. I myself enjoy rolling my rs, is this acceptable?

Tyvärr verkar dessa ord vara utdöende i svenskan. Särskilt yngre personer säger oftast såhär: ”Han ska tvätta hans bil” när de menar att han ska tvätta sin egen bil. 😢

Why have ALL the natural pauses been removed? These posts are basically good and useful but there is no time to reflect. Not even half a second. No one naturally speaks in this breathless way and listening causes a mild sense of panic. Not at all conducive to learning I am sorry to say.

You can always pause the video if you need time to reflect. We use this format because people stop watching the videos when we have too many pauses. But thanks for the feedback. We will have it in mind.
