Hi im new to svenska like really new and I have had a pretty easy time reading and writing (to the point I could actually write almost this entire comment in svenska) but I have a pretty hard time listening to it, should I just keep on listening to music and podcasts and pick it up subconsciously or should I take a different approach?
@FunSwedish11 сағат бұрын
Great question! Apart from listening to music and podcasts. A lot of our students say our pronunciation course helped them understand spoken Swedish better. In this course you will learn, among many things, to identify what is typical for spoken Swedish (that we say "nåt" instead of "något" for example). So you are able to hear this and understand better when a Swede speaks to you. Here is the link if you want to check it out elansutbildning.teachable.com/courses/enrolled/2232485 P.S We have a 20 % discount this summer if you use the promocode SUMMER24.

Swedes love sweets. (Yes, they almost rhyme. 😁) US Southerners ain't got nothin' on Swedes when it comes to having a sweet tooth. 😂

thanks FunSwedish!! i have learned so much with your videos here in very short time. Can you honestly tell what would be the reason for me to buy your courses, if im getting so much for free anyway?
@FunSwedishКүн бұрын
Two reasons. 1. You will learn EVEN more Swedish. Get exercises to practise etc.We explain everything in more detail and you will have more hours of valuable content. 2. Support us so we can make more youtube content for you. Our courses are our income. Without it we would have a harder time making free content since we need money to eat and support our families. So thanks to all our followers who buy the courses we can continue making free content on KZfaq. Otherwise we would need to close the channel and find a normal job to survive.

What's the difference in pronounciation between sett and sätt?
@FunSwedishКүн бұрын
No difference (at least not in my dialect). They mean different things but are pronunced the same way. If you want to learn more about Swedish pronunciation take our Swedish pronunciation video course. Here is the link: funswedish.teachable.com/p/pronunciation

Ja! Bra jobbat. Qasa är bra men tyvärr inte förstahandskontrakt (för alltid kontrakt) vilket man kan få via Bostadsförmedling. Qasa är andrahandskontrakt och oftast kan man inte stanna längre än 1 år. Men bättre än ingenting!

Definitely Roxette for me. 😊 Ace of Base is cool too. Another cool one is Ghost. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Yngwie Malmsteen. 🤘🎸 Oh, and Meshuggah and Opeth too if you love prog metal. Sweden is one of the metal capitals of the world. 😁 Gotta think outside the ABBA box. 😁

I have started reading a lätt läsa book and I've written out the words that i don't know as i go. It makes it much easier to learn the words when you can bind it to the story rather than flash cards. I never thought to to the ett and en. You brilliant soul you 🎉😂
