Is Maurten what you used for the world championship, and is this the first time you've done this test? Crazy to see someone who has already won at such a high level coming back for gains and improvements. Just casually rolling up for 3hr at 280 for the test and looking to improve on that!

Can you enter some pure swim , bike , run races so we can see you fresh against pure swimmers etc. not expecting you to beat pros it’s just interesting viewing for us punters as no triathletes seem to do it. Keep it up

Why does Maurten use the cheap sodium bicarbonate instead of the much superior sodium citrate?

Two different things. Bicarbonate has some alkaline theory to counter acidity. S.Citrate is an electrolyte in place of salt. Maurten does use electrolytes. They actually claim electrolytes reduce effectiveness of their gels.
