Sweeney Syndrome in Horse

Sweeney Shoulder in horses is recognized by atrophy of the muscles that are located in the shoulder area. This is caused by damage to the suprascapular nerve that controls the Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus and Triceps muscles.

Dear Dr. Aiyan, thank you for another very informative video! I wanted to ask if you could make a video in the future about the muscles a horse needs to carry a rider. Maybe some comparisons "Horse A has a underdeveloped longissimus dorsi, you can see this here" - "Horse B shows us how the the back is supposed to look like" - Things like that, would be very interesting to hear from you, since you are a veterinarian and surely have more knowledge about it than most of us.
