➡️ Note: For ID purposes, I will be referring to the female eagle as F1 (Female, #1). This is the same female eagle that has occupied the territory/appeared in my ground videos since 5-30-23. If/when she is given a name or number from the Pritchett's/SWFEC, I will switch and use that. The official start of Florida Bald Eagle breeding season is October 1st.
Video opens with a view of the nest tree. Venus (the fastest horse in the herd 🐎, runs to the feed station area. M15 arrives at the nest tree, preens, and watches the area with special attention to the N. M15 flies to the pond oak area to select a small branch for the nest. As M15 heads to the nest, the beak to feet transfer of the small branch is shown in slo-mo. This is the second branch I have seen M15 bring during my visits. After placing his branch, M15 leaves to the NW. Next up is quick view of the car wash construction site. F1 (appeared to be F1 in my scope view) perched on a rooftop just S of the nest pasture for fifty-five minutes, preening, watching the area, and rousing before leaving to the S. Video closes with a quick check on The Herd, for the horse lovers! Time stamps below, if interested. Click on any time stamp to advance to that part.
