M & Harriet are wonderful. They seem to have learned how to make sure their little eaglets get enough to eat, to be encouraged that their Mom & Dad will see to it, without interfering with the natural order of things. Does it seem to you as though Harriet is trying to be very quiet and get the food as close to E22 as possible so as not to wake up E21? I'm probably reading too much into it, but, they seem to have so much wisdom.

Today was a good day the bonks were light in the afternoon and evening both chicks were being fed side by side at one feeding it was a nice day at the nest with both Es satisfied

I was watching this live and when 21 was moving around and catch a glimpse of a little eye open I’m like “noooooooo 21….stay down…stayyyyyy…..21…….sweet dreams.” Leave 22 and the 🐠 alone.

Nevervworry about bonking it gets bloody. Mom or Dad will step in, she doesnt put ip with much horseplay. I live the dpecisl feedings.

All is well with both chicks. When one is asleep that means it's been fed plenty. That gives the other chick an opportunity to eat. With the amount of food being brought in there shouldn't be a problem with both chicks getting their fill.

As much as I hate to see the bonking, I console myself by thinking that the wonderful parents. Harriet and M15, probably experienced the same behaviour when they were eaglets and may well have been the agressor

Great video! It was so nice to see E22 get a good feeding. When Harriet was feeding both of them, and E22 was still getting bites, for a few seconds, E21 seemed to look at it's sibling in disbelief. Like "what are you doing? how are you getting fed too?"...right before giving E22 a mild bonk, lol. Just like last year, I think the younger eaglet will make a great come back in a couple weeks! 🙏💙

Thanks for the "show" of the eaglets...I've never seen any stuffed baby eaglets. Do they have them ? I would love to get one for my granddaughter. I've seen stuffed adult eagle toys. but love those "bobbleheads" .I do worry the older sibling might injure the younger one. I know survival of the fittest. Thanks. I love seeing E22 eat without harassment from it's sleeping sibling. Maybe Harriet and M have learned a trick to feed the harassed baby. I have to admit - I can't watch the bonking.

Finally, so mean they keep feeding piggy and not 22. Lol Poor E22 doesn't even have strength to sit up.

Smart parents know how to stop bonking (bullying). And yes bonking is bullying. Is preparation bullying for the tomorrow bullying (Claim of everything) when eaglets start their journey. The bully eaglet raise like a common bully and becomes weak like a common bully that in some point of he's/her's journey realize that there are stronger eagles. On the other side the weak eaglet (victim) develop survival skills that bully doesn't have. I watch it every season.It's like a spoiled child that knows only the delivery of food without any effort. I love animals and tired to hear experts that knows everything. Is there any animal dictionery that show animal language and I don't know? I think not . Enough. Experts knows everything about animals. When bullying, when are happy, when they cry if they cry, when they laugh if they laugh also knows that is not happy during mate or after like human so it's not big deal to sterilize them (ex.dogs). We look for aliens and we don't know animals. Enough, bullying is bullying with the same agly results no matter if is animal or human. How anybody can claim that knows everything about animals? And I don't know if is right to call bullying animal behavior or the opposite. Maybe is the way of a violent world for surviving of every species best part. We can't live all for ever. After All planet can't feed all the souls from the beginning of life, animals and humans . That's why death is a very very natural and necessary process and eaglets bullying is one of the methods that contribute.
