M15 is back at the nest! He returned with a potential new mate. She is gorgeous 😍! Only time will tell 🥰❤️🦅! This video was recorded on Friday, August 25, 2023.

It's wonderful to see our beautiful M15 back. He looks so much better. Hope he had a nice restful vaca--he deserves it after all his hard work. He is the best Dad ever. I wish the E's would stop by for a visit. It was such a bittersweet season and I'm sure Harriet is watching. Thanks for the beautiful video RSP!!!

Been missing M15 and it sure would be nice to see the E's again. The piece missing is Harriet. She and M15 were extraordinary parents and they had extraordinary babies. Hopefully M15 will get on with his life now with a new mate who will be as fabulous as Harriet was. Harriet was a fantastic mother and mate. She nutured and guarded her babies with her life. M15 did far above and beyond in the raising of the E's.

She hasn't missed a season since they've been together. He probably knows what happened, or suspects, but this will clinch it for him and he will instinctively move on. My heart still aches for Harriet. But I’m so glad that M seems to be moving on but I know he misses Harriet too. M looks well rested and I’m so proud of him. This new female is beautiful! 💙🦅❤️🦅❣️❣️

Our M15 who is so Majestic & handsome. Raised 2 eaglets 4 weeks old. They branched , fledged & went on their life’s journey. M protected them, fed them, taught them evry thing an eagle would need to know. He does deserve the Father of the Year award & received from all who had the pleasure of knowing him. This new female who they call for now F1 is very pretty. We will miss his & our Beloved Harriet to the end of time. I do wish M15 evry happiness if this is his new mate & pray he lives on & Our Harriet will remain in our hearts always as will M15. Can’t wait till season 12 @ SWFL nest. To all in Florida who are in line with this hurricane be safe friends see you soon again. 🙏🦅🙏❤️

Since the female is young and if she becomes M's choice, he will be able to teach her all that Harriet taught him thru the 8 years they were together. Based on what I have been reading, the female is right at 5 years old. Since M has been collecting sticks already for the nest, that will be his first teaching moment for her. 😁

Soooooooo happy to hear this news, last year was my first year watching this nest and all kinds of emotions i never expected from the loss of Harriet to E21 final sighting. I am now happy that we may now get to see M15 start all over again and pass on the knowledge that Harriet taught him

What a treat! This was so enjoyable. M15 looks well rested and his new beau is gorgeous. Saw a video earlier today when they were both working on the nest together. (So happy it's not the one with craggly feet who was mean to the E's.)

It is great to see M15 looking refreshed and renewed. He did what was thought not possible last season and mounted up to the challenge, and was empowered like Elijah running ahead of the chariot. He took amazing care of his and Harriet's precious Es. The power of what was done is still here. Everything that has been done by M15 and Harriet is a firm foundation for everything to come. A lot can happen very suddenly. I still have not given up on the idea of Harriet coming back. Come back or not so much is left here that will always remain a part of the pasture. They nest they rebuilt together and all the challenges they triumphed over planted deep down to sustain throughout the ages. My hope is that M15 will continue to produce all of his purpose, and with every morning and dusk Chortle Harriet will be celebrated. Great things are yet to be done, my confidence is in all that has been overcome to now be here and in position for great victories ahead. We love and miss you Mama Harriet. This is a new female. She is much smaller than r23/4 and is younger as her plumage is still not completely white

@@katherinep2972 Hi😊! SWFL Cam stated "while not 100% confirmed" regarding the female. I've been thinking about some folks who may believe there's a possibility that this is a different eagle. And, that's OK. There are ALWAYS possibilities for most everything. Thanks to @Androcat I used some of her earlier videos & close-ups to compare and contrast with the present. @Androcat was the 1st to post the famous tower scene a couple months ago. She also posted wonderful views of the lady in the heavily shaded office oak. I noticed... #1 - When her head & eye area are darkened by heavy shade is when her heavy eyeliner is in full effect. Also when a camera is pointing upward it's more visible, rather than level straight at her eyes in blinding bright sunlight. #2 - Her vocal style/tone/cadence now is same as it was on the tower. #3 - Underside of tail feathers have same youthful slightly gray tinged areas as I also see presently on this one as she preens. #4 - Head feathers have same youthful not-quite-bright-white coloring. So, unless M decided she's no longer useful to him after all this time of her welcomed presence & company through the past 5 months & has kicked her to the curb in the last couple weeks..........then I guess this one is her identical twin sister 😉..........etc. etc. etc.🦅💞🦅✌🌺

M-15 and Harriet were truly Love Birds. They spent time together All the time. M-15 would bring her food gifts all the time. After Harriet Disappeared M-15 became Mom and Dad to the Baby Eglet's. He took such good care of those Babies Day and Night. He Deserves a New Mate. Breeding time is almost here. Good Luck M-15. You Deserve a lot of Love. We Love You. ❤❤❤

I don’t think E-22 is far from the nest. I was driving by Pioneer village resort and I swear I heard him squeaking. It’s like 2 miles from the original nest and there’s water and it’s secluded. I’ll keep you guys posted if I see anything.

I don't believe she is only a possible mate...the cameras have been down for weeks. She and M have certainly mated as they are quite comfortable in each other's company. Now re building the nest and vocalizing together as well. Do male eagles get this close to a female and move on to another...this close to breeding season.?? I think she's the one...

She's pretty. My understanding is that the female eagle chooses her mate. When WRDC's Ron lost his mate Rita, he seemed to fancy one of the females coming around, but she didn't win out against another more assertive female who claimed Ron. And she (Rose) has turned out to be a wonderful partner. Tho very young, she succesfully fledged two eaglets this year, I believe.
