I like those Milwaukee gloves in cold weather. Doing make ups on a backstop in Spokane Washington I just have to cut the fingertips off for the nut and bolt install and take one for the team. Oh yeah. I also have to stuff the hand warmers in there with a cheap pair of cotton gloves on first. That’s last resort though because it’s like 15 degrees over here today. But warming up tomorrow. Yee haw. !!

Best Gloves I have used for barbwire and and welding are the full grain Yellowstone elk hide 549e by a long ways, they are a little speedy but are worth it. And are USA made.

The Kinco leather gloves have surprisingly good dexterity considering their bulk. I keep them around for extreme cold. And I like the Showa 3/4 dipped gloves. My go-to almost year round. I need the nitrile coating for oil/ gas resistance, and the 3/4 dip is a lot less "swampy" that the full dipped version.

Are you talking about the Showa Atlas 451? I like those quite a bit, but they're not quite warm enough for below freezing temps.

@@andrewc9790 I use the Showa 376 year round (in Minnesota). I'm ok with them in "just" freezing temps. When it's closer to zero, I have a pair of fingerless mittens I can wear over the gloves. They cover just past the knuckles, and make a huge difference. I find that if I dress warm, my fingers stay warm even in the cold. But if I feel cold, my fingers are freezing regardless of what gloves I wear!

I must be doing something wrong because I blow thumbs out in leather gloves all the time and the extra thumb pad on the the second pair of leather gloves you reviewed does come in handy for me.

I use radians axis cut resistant level 4 for sheet metal and they have been great so far. Nothing has cut them and I only paid $10 at Lowe’s. Compared to the Milwaukee I handled at the store these were thicker and better made.

Plain Jan's unless barbwire or welding Comfortable and good grip last quite a while and really cheap to purchase and even better value when you get them as a give away Then by where my brother lives is a place that sells cheap leather gloves...like 1.75 a pair if you by a dozens. They last about 3 days of barn wire but the cost per hour is so low its a good value.

It wasn't a very good review considering that for value you told the guys the wrong price and for durability about half had not been field tested.

The prices will vary greatly depending on where you buy them. All the gloves had been field tested by one of us, but no we didn't each spend ~$300.00 on gloves for this video. We can tell you for what we do, fencing in Wyoming, the Tillman 1414 is the best all around glove we've found.
