If you look at the kitchen scene, it’s one shot. It’s continuous shot. There is also a short behind the scenes making the short film, it’s very nice to see her directing snd delegating. Taylor has written nearly 300 songs. Some she writes alone, some with 1-2 cowriters, she produces them all. Jealous you guys get your go. I’m trying to find affordable tix. Eric talked about her at the party and how she was acting there. The party scene is a reference to one of her songs called The Moment I Knew. That song is about how he didn't show up to her 21st birthday party even though he promised her he would ('He watched me watch the door all night willing you to come', 'It's supposed to be fun, turning 21', 'Not weeping in a party bathroom', 'You call me up again just to break me like a promise').

I'm so excited for this series. Long time fan of the channel and a middle aged male Swiftie.

I've been a fan of Taylor since her self-titled debut (I listen to a lot of country, and especially did back then) and while I enjoy a lot of her music, I don't consider myself a swiftie. Red is my favorite album to date, I think, and midnights lost me solely because of the electrical instruments. (She put out acoustic versions of a few of the songs and they are gorgeous, I wish she'd release an acoustic album). Just to say - the guys can be fans without being swifties! If that's more their vibe. I respect her music, but since my taste crosses rock and folk and indie and all sorts of ways, she's far from my favorite songwriter. She's talented! I don't want to undercut that. But it's fine to enjoy her and still have other music you appreciate more. I do get a tidge salty when people say there's no other good songwriters out there, or that she led the country pop movement. Shania was there first XD and there's a ton of underappreciated indie artists out there writing ridiculously amazing songs that never make it on the radio. (Also, if any fans spot this - please don't be one of those who belittles the country roots. Country music has a stereotype, and the radio isn't great these days, but it's where she got a lot of the writing patterns that she still uses today. The lyrical change-ups, the storytelling, the distinctive visuals - a lot of those are country hallmarks) Just a long-winded way of saying - I appreciate the swifties, and kudos to y'all for loving what you love unapologetically! But that's far from the only way to enjoy her music, and even if people don't end up being superfans, there's a lot to appreciate just from a music perspective.
