I really liked the humor of it all & the the fact that he doesn't take himself seriously!

Best climbing film I've seen for a while. Loved the humour.......too many people out there taking themselves so seriously!

I love European climbing films. It’s not about living on the edge while writing the next chapter of futuristic hardcore badass king lines… it’s about the amazing people shaping the sport, the beautiful landscape, the poetic goals, the mistakes, the friendships.. ❤❤❤

Cedric's happy attitude on the rock is inspiring. Happy is the way.

(1) A climbing movie I can suggest not only to my mother, who gets it even if she doesn't climb, but also to her sisters who have no connection to it at all. (2) The right amount of self-deprecating humor and cracking of the fourth wall. (3) Honesty about the fact that climbers are people too. (4) A subtle, yet deep, history and ethnography of Swiss climbing.

This is the best climbing film I’ve ever seen, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen all the good ones since I started climbing in the 80’s. I lived in Leysin in Switzerland for 5 years and met the Remy brothers, who put up so many of the best routes on the Tour d'Aï which was my climbing playground. Michel Piola was climbing there a lot in the late 80’s and wrote a great guide book for Leysin. I was up there pretty much every day in the summer of 1987 and would bump into him often. I was working as a barman at that time at the Club Vagabond which was the home of the International School of Mountaineering. I also climbed the Remy brother’s routes in Grimsel, which were stunning. Watching the climbing on the Eiger made my palms sweat so much and I could feel the fear in my insides as If I was there. What a stunning climber and truly wonderful human Cedric is. Thank you all for this wonderful project.

Seeing Cedric and Nina climb together is so impressive and funny at the same time. The connection between them is outstanding, just like in the „Silbergeier“-movie they did a few years back. If you liked THIS movie you reeeaaaally should watch that one as well. I really hope that the mother-to-be Nina takes her well deserved time off, but re-joines the multipitch-climbing-stage in the future.

I lived in CH for 11 years. The Jungfrau region became the home of my heart. I miss it with every single fibre of my body and soul.😭. The country, environment, people...simply, its the only place I want to be.
