Take Away -Date someone with similar speed and direction/purpose as yours -No Trust, No R/ship. Just cut off even if it's painful but it's necessary. -Create time for open communication together -Have boundaries for your R/ship -Avoid in-law problems/Interference with In-laws -Have genuine motives when handling money...Not keeping secretively when there are challenges. Save with Wisdom. -Money In, Money OURS: not yours alone. -A man in infatuation is almost Insane and that makes you vulnerable to manipulation. -A man has to be Gentle and courteous. -If there's leadership, submission is easy. (Submission is a response to leadership!) -Marriage is a mutually beneficial and voluntary r/ship between two adults. -Pride always losses. -Don't settle for disrespect. Wisdom! Wisdom! Wisdom!

'Submission is a response to leadership.' Yes! 'In chess you lose your queen, you lose the game.' Idiot's creed: 'I'm staying in abuse for the sake of the children.' You have said it: 'The FIRST reason you leave abusive marriage is the children, because they are observing, because you are teaching them how marriage and life operates, and if you mislead them, they'll end up being mistreated the same way.' This is the truth - no human being should be treated disrespectfully by anyone. Abuse continues because victims allow it. Thank you for speaking the truth. God bless you, tena sana.

There is nothing scriptural about that statement. Submission is what the woman does to the man because he is her husband, and not necessarily in response to his leadership. Check 1 Pet. 3:1 - 6. The woman is expected to submit even to an ungodly man. Let's be careful about rewriting scriptures.
@BlackPanther-lt7wr3 жыл бұрын
@@gabezek And when a woman chooses a husband, she actually chooses based on leadership qualities. You cannot submit to someone who cant lead.
@gabezek3 жыл бұрын
@@BlackPanther-lt7wr I guess what is good for the goose is also good for the gander, right? So, going by your statement, a man cannot love a woman who cannot submit. You see, we can't eat our cake and have it. It's either we go with the scriptures fully or we don't even bother with it to start with. The concept of q woman submitting to her husband is a Christian one. It isn't something the world teaches. The world teaches MUTUAL love and respect. The world teaches marriage as a contract. The world teaches, "you scratch my back, I scratch yours." Let's stop mixing the two. Never teach a woman that the only time you submit is when a man shows leadership. That's easy submission and means nothing in reality. The proof of true submission is what the woman does when the man isn't even listening to her or leading her or meeting her supposed needs. Just as the prove of true love is what a man does when the wife isn't even living up to what's expected of her. You want the man to love regardless but the woman shouldn't submit regardless? The only grounds where one could decide not to show such love or submission is when the other person demands you to do something against God. Anyway, I wrote all of this to say, the Bible has provided the simplest of answers to marriage: wife submits, husband loves. There's no condition added to that (save the exception I stated above.) If we don't agree with such, let's not use those words. True submission is well described in 1Pet.3:1-6. I keep quoting that scripture because I think many Christians rarely check it out and that's why they blurt out statements like what Zulu said. Lastly, and I repeat, submission and true love can only be talked about from the scripture context. No need to use the word if you won't teach it as the scripture does or else you will be in danger of misleading people.
@BlackPanther-lt7wr3 жыл бұрын
@@gabezek You're an over thinker. What I meant ( n what probably Zulu was saying) is, when a man approaches a woman one of the things she looks at is his leadership qualities " can this man lead me?" That's one of the many things that goes through her mind, then when she eventually picks you, she trusts you enough to fully submit to who you are and what you stand for. Virtuous women do not submit to anyone, they submit to a man who can lead them

The fact that people rush in relationship steps made everything so easy and that's why most people date for long but don't end up together as real couples .....nowadays you meet for 1week then you decide to move in together, what next?you end up playing wife and husband roles which becomes boring like games ,with time you adjust to everything just trying to make things work and after all the effort someday it becomes toxic and by the time you completely decide to end it, it's always so hard .....It's better to take it slow even if the relationship feels so strong just take those steps let time decide keep that girlfriend boyfriend vibe until you are sure and most important achieve your goals before moving in together at least try to be your own leader don't rush to play husband wife roles 🙌
