PSA: this has nothing to do with the prank... I don't know if this is what you meant by "I'll be keeping it in my room" but you can't keep a Bengal (or any other cat) in your room lol. Not only is that cruel but I have one, he just turned 3 and he is the most hyper active, LOUD cat I've ever met. Not to mention they get pretty big. Brody (my cat) is literally 25lbs and pure muscle. You also shouldn't just get an animal just because you think they're "pretty" or aesthetically pleasing. I hope you really did do your research like you said because if not, you're in for a big awakening and I already feel terrible for your new pet.

The kitten is adorable but I really wish you would’ve adopted instead of getting one from a breeder...theirs so many in the shelters/in rescues that need good homes right now. Please do your research about breeders. I wish you the best with the new baby- make sure to get him to the vet and get him fixed etc ❤️

I think getting from a reputable breeder is okay. Also, if you want a specific breed, like she did, it’s better to get from a breeder. Obviously, overall adopting is better, but really it’s not that bad.

Also the fact that she needed a hypoallergenic cat makes it okay. If someone she lives with is allergic to cats, she needs to make sure she isn’t going to make their allergies flair up because she wants a cat.

Emily Schultheis their are rescues that cater to specific breeds..their a billions of animals being put down everyday. I would go through rescues and shelters first and do research on breeders In general and then go from there

Amber Burbo When you adopt, you can’t be 100% sure you are getting a purebred, even if they say it is. When you go to a reputable breeder, you know what you’re getting.

Emily Schultheis yes you can lol. I work with animal shelters and rescues. When you get one from a specific breed rescue they’ll tell you if it’s mixed or not. Plus you’ll be able to see if it’s not. I was part of a “breeding bust” program where we went to “reputable breeder” and checked things over and I have literally never seen a good breeder. We watched one guy write his own paperwork(which is illegal) and then tell us he had fullbreds when they obvi weren’t. All I’m saying is to do research on breeders

I just want to warn you about flea and tic medicine because we just put some on my cat dusty and she was able to like it and she ended up passing away and it was really hard to see her like that , just know before you put anything on your cat please go to a vet .
