Look closely in the video and you can see he is wearing a solid gold timepiece on his wrist, probably made just for him. He won't be selling that one lol.

My brain must now be sending cookies to youtube, because today, I spent the afternoon doing my own service maintenance on my mechanical watch and I turn on youtube and this video is recommended. My watch isn't as fancy as Sylvester's watches, mines just a 1950's Timex mechanical watch. I learned to service it myself, because no watch maker will service it, they feel it isn't worth the effort, so I learned to do it myself.

Yeah, I wear my Citizen when going out on special events because it's slim and classy looking. Every day use though is my Casio G-shock with atomic clock, radio time updates and solar powered battery. Still going strong and looking good after 13 years of physically hard use, bangs and knocks. You just can't kill these G-shocks!

RM are also ridiculously priced, 200-300k, whereas you can get a new Rolex for 10-15k. I think it's smart unloading the RMs, in case of sudden price depreciation.

The only one I'd be interested in is the Panerai, it has history and it's tasteful. Nothing against RM ability to make incredible movements, but the design to me is just cheap looking, almost like a toy. Doesn't matter anyway 'cause I can't afford any of those. Sly looks amazing, as always, such a cool guy.

They don’t even make there own movements; they buy them in from a supplier. Which makes the price even more outrageous.

RM's genius is artificially making the price astronomical for crap as it's clientele is looking for other's recognition of how much it costs.. they couldn't care less about craftmanship...it's look how much it costs marketing plan..look at the typical owner...it's still garbage.

Look at something like a Kikuno every single part is made by hand without CNC and only 1 can be made per year and cost less than this garbage.. RM is the Frank Mueller of current that will be outdated when the next trend hits. It's like a paisley print shirt no one will wear when the fad dies. Look at whom he is marketing to..it's the "baller's" "douches" Saudi kids , every rapper in town who wants to flash "look how much it costs"

If I was him I would be selling too. The Richard Mill pieces are tacky. The Luminor is cool because it started a trend but big watch cases are dated.

Totally agree. Richard Milles are overrated. Give me a A lange, VC, Patek, JLC, Rolex or even omega over those gauche monstrosities. They are fad pieces like Jacob Co pieces were in the 90s.

@@MJH211 the watches that you mention have great history. They are also one of the best watches. But RM is on other level. It is like comparing nice mercedes to buggati veyron. Though the buggati has no history but it is the better car in every aspect. Not even comparable. The same is here. New watches like richard mille fp journe are so much ahead of patek and a lange.

Have you seen a Patek or VC with Minute repeater, tourbillon and perpetual calender, all in a single watch? RM looks like plastic skeleton toy watches with an interface that matches pinball machines. Something you can find in watches from AliExpress.

Rolex Patek mostly. He has a rainbow gmt and wearing a Rolex sub gold. His first watch was the yellow gold black dial sub but it's hard to tell if this is the one he is currently wearing
