Hi ! I know this is a very old comment you made here but do you still believe Stallone was 5ft6-7 or was that a bit of an exaggeration ? He’s never looked that short to me and I’ve seen him in plenty of movies and out in public and only looks maybe a few inches shorter than swarzenegger so I always thought he was around the 5ft9-10 mark myself even though he could look taller at times as I know he can wear elevators . If he is only 5ft6-7 as you state then he has done a fantastic job at hiding it ?

@@paulnicolas172 I met him personally one day outside the Philadelphia Art Museum when he was directing a scene for Rocky II. I got a good look and my guess is he’s about 5’7”. He’s known for wearing lifts or thick heels in his public appearances, and using boxes and camera angles to appear bigger on screen, but on this day he was working behind the camera in Nikes or Adidas, so I think I was seeing his true height.

You could be right as a few people told me he was around that height when they met him and there was a director Goldman back in the nineties who worked with him on set during the filming of Rambo who one day met him at a pool barefoot and Goldman was 5ft 10 and mentioned Stallone was about 5ft7 soaking wet - there were loads of other instances where I suspected he was less than the 5ft10.5 he claimed at one point - he starred in an episode of kojak in the eighties and played a dodgy cop but when he stood next to kojak he looked about 2-3 inches shorter and kojak was supposed to be 5ft10 - I guess he didn’t wear elevators much then till he became more famous later. I know it sounds petty talking about this but as he was my main actor when I was young he did inspire me to start bodybuilding but I always thought I was too short for this but if I would’ve know he was the same height as me ie 5fr7., it would of inspired me more . Like I mentioned though he has done a brilliant job hiding it as even in public he pulls off looking quite tall infact in some cases he can look up to 6ft standing next to swarzenegger where sometimes he only looks an inch or two shorter so he must be wearing very good elevators because most the time they look pretty normal . Whatever his true height is he has definitely achieved the ideal Hollywood action movie star American dream and has had and is having a fantastic life most people could only dream about and the fact he has achieved pulling off being an action hero at only 5ft6/7 is testament that anything can be achieved with the right determination- I’d love to have had his lifestyle .

I think I read the average height for US women is 5' 4". She is more average height for a model. Even so, 5' 10" is not feakishly tall, though tall for an Irish lass.

That's tall in Asia, South America and some parts of Africa. Average in the US and short in Europe.

It depends where in Europe. You know, because it's a whole continent.

Aclam O Africa, Asia and South America are whole continents too. But if you look at the average heights of Europe you will see that almost all of them are over 173cm. Same for the other continents, some countries in Asia would maybe find 173cm as short aswell. But generally you can say that its short in Europe.
