This symptoms apply for any GDI internal combustion engine, my car started dying randomly on me, it got worse with time. Best thing to do is scan it with a proper OBD tool and the car will give you the right codes if the ECU is fine. These high pressure fuel pumps are expensive, over 1K USD for most if not all models that use the GDI system.

I have a 2000 Ford F-150 4 x 4 5.4 l what's happening is you turn the key on you try to start it and it goes right and then stops and then stops what module would keep the truck from turning over😊

Well.... Thanks for the video, but i was hoping to find some ways to test the high pressure fuel pump. You said that you made a different video for that, but it looks like you forgot to put a link to it... I need to know how much fuel (high) pressure these need to start and idle.

well on my 2013 Kia Optima is looses power after about 30 35 minutes of driving, ...but when you turn it off for about 15-20 minutes it runs fine again. (and I get no codes on my dashboard)

Hi , I'm fixing a w205 c300 2015.It is a theft recovery ,high pressure pump was missing .I put a new one , the engine is clicking and I have pressure problems on start .This car comes with camshaft follower? I have autel pro mk808 : codes UO12087 - P053F94 - P1CCF00

More than likely your follower is missing.Take your pump off and look see if there is one in there

Hi I Hope you answer my question please, I own a 2012 Kia óptima and It has a problem that i cant found, when I turn of after 30 minutes i cant start again, i have to put some start fluid to start engine, after that the car run very good with no problems, sometimes i dont need star fluid, but i think It is when the car is parking for two hours or one day tanks

@@benromer1454 my problem is rare, I replace fuel pump, hight presure pump, intec, fluel presure sensor, temperature sensor, batery and control batery, now i gonna check valvs i read some information they can have deposit for the kind of inyection.

That part is the high pressure fuel pump, theres a low pressure fuel pump in the gas tank as well, which is the more common one

I have a 2017 Hyundai accent. I replaced the high fuel pump regulator and fuel pump. It want stay crank. Can you please give me some advice?

Does the car crank then turn on and run then shut off? or does it just crank and not start

@@leonardsolt6543 any check engine light? Normally if it is a dead fuel pump it won't start, it will crank but no momentary idle. If your vehicle idles then cuts off it could be another issue

@@leonardsolt6543 These factors are important and in depth diagnosis is important to help you avoid buying incorrect parts and throwing money all over. It Could be a fuel pump issue if it's not starting or if it starts and cuts off or doesn't start it could also be a crank sensor too? Crank sensor will typically throw a check engine light that is why I asked. Bad fuel pumps normally will not throw a light as they typically fail all at once and then you have no drive cycle or run time for the ECU to bridge out a code. So if you have a Check engine light then goto an auto parts store auto zone or advanced auto parts and ask to have the codes scanned then write them down and Google it see what code(s) you have. If you have money and want to help yourself in the future go on Amazon and buy an icarsoft obd2 scanner. It is one of the better ones they have a nice one that looks kind of like a tablet I paid $109 for mine they also have an icarsoft one that has a smaller screen it's like $50 reads and clears codes. To fix the codes you normally can't just clear it and not have it pop back on, you normally need to replace a sensor fix a vacuum leak or do some mechanical/electrical replacement work to fix an issue.
