Gary: I want to say thank you again for your video. I don't understand the difference between using something like a foam roller verse a stationary object (elbow, thumb) on the knot in my forearm (with hand movement causing the muscles under the skin to move). But it does help get rid of the pain faster. To that end, I picked up a tennis elbow pad from Walmart (12$) that has an air cushion that I have placed on the knot in my forearm (that is causing the tendonitus. I have only had it about 1 hour so it is a little early to tell. Have an awesome day! THANK YOU!

I’ve had this pain in my hand/wrist since the beginning of October. It’s now January. The pain eventually calmed down for a bit but recently its come back even worser. My doctor thinks its tendonitis and gave me some excersises to do and pain killers. I stopped taking those painkillers because I thought that my pain had gone. But recently its just come back. It can be felt mostly in the muscle hands area with my wrists clicking on a regular basis and pain can be felt when trying to grip on things. It’s weird :S and it feels like it won’t go away. I have tried your technique just now and did feel a bit of tightness. However, after doing it my hand feels kinda numb and tingling. I suppose it could have been caused by a lot of typing on computers & phones etc. I’m not really sure what to do about it. This kinda sounds bad coming from a 21 year old... I shouldn’t be falling apart already lol!! I’m also not sure if this is related but I’ve also had upper should & upper back pain for a long long time.... Way before I had pain in my wrist and hands. My mum used to get similar pains. I’m not really sure what to do. Any suggestions???

I was diagnosed with tendonitis 10 months ago. Originally it was very painful, and while the pain has gone away I still suffer from stiffness every morning and what I call "flare ups". I believe my tendonitis was caused from cell phone usage, so I have been trying to limit that, but I use a computer during the day and sometimes a random part of my hand will just bother me all day. For treatment they have me doing contrast baths, stretches, breaks, and gua sha, but it mostly focuses on the hand itself. I think I'll try more lower arm stuff like your video and hopefully my issues will finally completely resolve.

I banged my elbow hard into the corner of a drawer back in October and I thought I broke it. The X-rays showed no break. ( side question: could tendonitis also be the reason why when I move my index, middle, and ring finger that I feel pain down my wrist?)

How about using kinesiology type tape on the wrist and thumb/hand WHILE playing guitar? I have been trying this and It seems to be helping but I don't want to do more damage. I have heard that wearing a brace while playing is bad, but how about using Tape? For instance I use a stripe across my wrist to open up the carpel bone area and another on the inside/outside of my thumb. I get pins and needles on my wrist and thumb after practicing. Also I think maybe I stretch my hands TOO MUCH? Is that a thing? I try not to stretch too hard, but what is a good amount? And is a message gun ok to use on the hands? I have like a cheapo vibrating one.

Can plantar fascitiis cause tendonitis on my calf? I'm a figure skater and I was diagnosed with Tibular tendonitis, I did years of physical therapy but nothing seemed to work, I switched to doing exercises for plantar fascitiis and it seems to take the pain away. I mostly get pain in the belly of my calf while I sometimes have difficulty curling my big toe.
@garycrowley19 жыл бұрын
Hello Bea, In my experience it's a tight calf that tends to cause plantar fasciitis, and it's a tight tibialis anterior muscle (on the front of your shin) that plays a big role in tight calves. My free website www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/ has videos for every joint in your body, so if you are interested you may check out my Plantar Fasciitis Pain page, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/plantar-fasciitis-treatment.html and my Achilles Tendon Pain Relief Page, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/achilles-tendon-pain-relief.html, and maybe even my Best Calf Stretches Page, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/best-calf-stretches.html All these different muscle groups play off of each other, so any freedom you create in one area will only help. I’m feeling discomfort at the very top of my knee/bottom of my thigh. It feels swollen at times and when I massage it, it feels as if there’s a knot and it’s terrifying. I’m not in pain though. Just annoyed and I want an idea of whether or not this is definitely tendonitis. I’m not an athlete. I’m a very busy person though. I don’t rest or sleep much. I work out almost every single day and unfortunately, I don’t stretch much before or after. I am capable of pushing quite a lot of weight with my legs but I’m wondering if I got a little over zealous and pushed myself too much and am now suffering the consequence.. Is tendonitis also possible in someone who just works out often enough, plays aggressive music, travels, works 2 part times jobs on concrete floors? 😂 I think I answered my own question but please offer up some professional advice or relief.
@jimjones69016 жыл бұрын
Yes it's definitely possible, make sure you warm up before you work out (some active warmups, not stretching, you should stretching after, if you're really tight you can lightly stretch before you work out). It's also important to follow an intelligently designed program that fits your goals (this will make sure you are not going to cause an injury like the one you have). Good luck!

Thank you very much for your answer and of course your helping to all the people who are in pain and frustration. Im going to do all your exercises, but the think is that I don't have Idea what exactly I have. In th last 2 months I practiced rather excessively with my guitar and played games also. 5 days ago I felt pain in my hands and arms, I went to an orthopedic doctor here in Greece and he said that I have symptoms for both CT and T, so I have to see a specialist. My question lss, is if these treatments/ exercises here (tendonitis) will cause any harm if It turns out that I have carpal tunnel (or something else) ; Sorry for the long comment, again thanks, and be well!

Hi, how would I release a peroneal tendonitis where it's on the outside of the lower left leg? the tendons 2 inch below the knee and to the outside are irritated.

My free Ankle Joint Pain Relief page shows you how, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/ankle-joint-pain-relief.html#Video3 Specifically Video 3, but I'd do the whole series to make sure you undo any other muscles that may be contributors to your symptoms. Remember, you want to work on the bellies of the muscles that are yanking on the tendons. Best, Gary C.
