Agreed. Mixed feelings though, as I wish more companies invested in physical modeling over sampling. Physical modeling will definitely take over eventually, but who knows how long that'll be at this rate... Of course, still an _amazing_ library nonetheless.

@@snarf1504 That's my point. How much money do you think is being spent on physical modeling vs sampling? Frankly, it should've been done ages ago. SWAM Saxophones and SM Brass are already extremely good, but strings are still the test yet to be beat. I just hope Aaron Venture's Infinity Strings does well so at least hybrid modeling becomes less uncommon.

Amazing. I'm currently struggling with a MIDI arrangement of the third Brandenburg Concerto. I am working with Synchron Solo Strings and so far it is not sounding good. Realizations like this one keep me motivated.

The question is : shall mock-ups sound realistic or more realistic than live played music???? I am a very busy professional composer. I think that there should remain this live kick when you play it with real orchestras. I see no sense to produce more realistic mock-ups than the original. It is fascinating, but not really necessary. But it is another story to produce playback music for shows or film, when there is no budget for real musicians. But then we don’t speak about mock-ups. Then we speak about music productions.

One of my favorite symphony I like from Mozart and at first listen, i couldn't say it is from vst or real orchestra, very impressive ! The spiccato tight was really what was missing from Synchron vsts

Incredible video, and one of my most favourite pieces! I seriously want to buy Duality Strings after hearing the quality of these mockups Are you willing to share your X-Daw script for the extended articulation set?
