Question: I have mild narrowing of the medial compartment in X rays , BUT MRI shows cartilage in good condition . Does it still mean I have arthritis ? MRI report says No significant cartilage lose . Thanks

Concerning the first patient, I think I have similar problem. I have the feeling of something upsetting the normal motion between cartilage surface, just in the lateral condile, over the lateral meniscus front horn. Sometimes I feel pops especially during step and changing direction movement, and if I charge knees for a while I ear snaps or creaks, bending knees, when patella reaches that side of femur cartilage. There is some fluid there, like the example, and femur cartilage is inflamed. The inflammation fluid follows for few lenght the ACL. I have patella pushing too much on the upper side and lateral side too, few bursitis over the patella, where it encounters patella tendon, and patella medial band is a bit stretched. I suffered osteochondrosis, when I was younger, especially in the region of tibia apophysis, so I fear there are residual strains not solved in the bones, causing wrong pressure distribution between articular surface. Maybe there has been bone strain in femur surface shape, just over the meniscus horn, going worse. I have too much kiphosis in my back too and slight sacroiliac arthrosis, maybe stressed by pushing forward.
