I will be playing this combat patrol on Saturday. I don't think it will be as powerful as the previous one with the Ghostkeel (aka The Unkillable Beast in CP) but I think it will be fun. Personally looking forward to scout moving my Devilfish via Pathfinders, stickying home objective and then throwing the Breachers into the Devilfish to threaten any objective. It's a shame that the Commander is only good for negating Overwatch and being an observer because it sure isn't doing anything with those guns.

The Pathfinder Devilfish Scout combo is a good alternative option for some matchups I forgot to mention in the video! Thanks for bringing that up!

I really like this box and am going to pick this up when I start working on my Tau army. I am also glad it has the Pathfinder KT sprue as I wanted that kit anyway and getting it here is awesome.

You mentioned you play with beginners. Do you got your own shop? Where are you located in Germany?

No I have a community that got quite large over time and I people bring in friends of friends of friends, and over time that adds up to a lot of people who want to give Warhammer a try. I won't specify too much but it's near Cologne.

Your comment that the Crisis Suits should have been in the box over the Pathfinders is probably the one thing holding me back from buying this box. I have the older T'au combat patrol, and have been building it out to 1000 points. This box looks good, and I could run the two Breachers, but that Pathfinder squad is the one thing holding me back. Will just have to wait to see what happens after the price changes, it sounds like a fun box and I might be able to run it eventually just by having the parts, but the older box still seems better to play, but that may become less interesting as less of the older boxes get played as people adopt the newer, slimmed down combat patrols.

Pathfinders being able to infiltrate and spot twice makes bringing at least 1 squad every time worth this box being at least a 1 time purchase

Well in the main game. In combat patrol them being able to split into 2 squads so you can spot for your own rail rifles is very mice

Just build the Pathfinders as a strike team if you don't like it? Strike Teams are kinda goated not gunna lie. Hit an Ork boyz brick with them, then watch as all their attacks got misses.

you could kitbash the pathfinders into another firewarrior/breacher squad.

I mean having one squad of Pathfinders is fine. I personally have two already, so this box is not for me unless I go out of my way and kitbash the Pathfinders into a Strike Team with the additional bits you have in this box (as others have suggested already). But yeah, I think this box would have been 10/10 if it has Crisis Battlesuits over Pathfinders.
