This is a T.L. Toys piano playing snowman I got from a garage sale many years back. This is sort of a knockoff of the Hallmark piano snowman made in 2005. The snowman didn’t move when I first got it, but the motor was just locked up. After messing with the head for a little, I managed to get it moving without taking it apart, and it worked fully for several years until I tried to make a KZfaq video of it. The snowman’s motor wire came off during the video; it broke on camera. I was still fairly new to repairs at the time, so I actually cut the back open to get into it, when I could’ve just pulled the fabric off the present. I managed to solder the wire back on with my little experience, but I put it back together poorly. I didn’t re-attach it to the present, I just let it sit there. I didn’t glue the fabric back down, and I didn’t sew up the back. I also didn’t glue the bow tie back on to the present, which had fallen off during the repair. It moved, but it wasn’t assembled correctly. Both wires pulled off the motor the following year on the exact same day that it broke the year prior, no joke. I soldered the wires back on much better this time, so they should stay put for at least a good 10 years. I also sewed up the back, mounted the snowman back on the present, and glued the fabric back down on the present. I also glued the bow tie back on the present, and it has worked fine ever since! The snowman bangs on the keys while singing “Let it Snow”, “Jingle Bell Rock”, and “Holly Jolly Christmas”. That’s about it! Fun fact: When I first got this item, there was a small koala tree ornament glued to the present which I still have to this day. Of course, I took it off the present. I really hope you enjoyed the video! Thank you all so much for watching! I’m interested in what you have to say, so please comment!
