Wonderful video by John Cash. Very interesting to see how things worked out in the following years, particularly the visit to Moneygall of President Barack Obama and his family.

My great great great ?? Grandad came to America in /around 1800. On a US Census he was recorded as coming from “Temporary”. I researched this and figured out it was Tipperary. Are there any Cavanaugh’s in the area? His name was Rodger. My name coincidently is Roger, named after my dad’s favorite uncle! Thanks.

Many thanks for this video, my name is peter Ryan, and I am told we originate from Tipperary. and that my great grandfather was an auctioneer there,, sadly that is all we know, But I did go there just once many many years ago, I have not been back since I was a young man,I think the main problem is we have been told that Ireland today, is mega expensive,I have never actually asked the hotel prices, but this is what we here, The last time i travelled around southern Ireland I was camping, and we had a brilliant time,.thanks again.

Irish and British castles are no more than Outhouses compared to Indias marvels. Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Jaipur in particular

No offense to you Sir. If all those INDIAN MARVEL'S --- How come there's they all leave India and head here to Ireland and everywhere else??????🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
@alllovingcowherdboy4475 Жыл бұрын
@@carmelhegarty9829 no offense taken but the same is true for all countries...some of their people never want to leave it while other's want life in other lands either for financial upliftment or to broaden their horizons. Indias IT personnel are top class and are in big demand by big companies as also are their doctors and nurses as they have attractive qualities and high qualifications . They are humble, gentle people who are pleasant to deal with. Apart from that India was, before the Islamics and British, the richest country in the world. It was reduced to poverty by their greed. Britain took 50 trillion pounds in their time there and destroyed their educational system and as in Ireland after the Brits left it took 50 year's and more for it to recover and the same with India which is only now in the ascendant once more
