Oh man Noboru has always played this ridiculous lol Dude skill is 17xx but trushes like 2.2k and his lategame is also hilarious to watch. Imagine 30 bombard canons and halbs in 1v1 game. Truly a legend.

I just got this game and started playing online yesterday for the first time after practicing with ai for my first few games and this strat has been paying off big. Only time I lost was in the map where people get automatic walled territory in a square. I learned to put towers on the area I break into first and that helps alot. Also have to go for the gold and wood resources at the start. If you get stuck fighting units they keep farming until youre outfarmed.

This is actually pretty fun to watch. Your town center is destroyed by some rogue villagers and now theres a man hunt for the last of your people as you hurry to scrap together an army of archers

It is hard to be a villager; you have to fight with everyone, but it is much harder to not be a villager; you have to fight with Villagers.

Thanks for remembering some of us are new here, well I’m not really as I’ve seen about 80 hours worth of your KZfaq vids (including that 13 hour game), but pointing out blacksmith upgrades affect Incan villagers is top stuff. Haven’t played since the original so I don’t quite know all the civ differences yet. Thank you, based T90.

I feel like scouts or men at arms are a better defense to this due to the vils high pierce armor. Yes scouts are hard on your Eco but they would fair better than feudal ranged units

So this one time I was moving across the country. We didn't have much stuff so we just rented one of those small uhaul trucks and drove it ourselves. Well it turns out there was a problem. When going uphill for some reason the truck could only go about 20 miles per hour. We found this out right as we reached the Rocky Mountains. That was fun.

It seems the reason this works is because noboru has so many villagers at the start of feudal that its difficult for his opponents to train enough military to counter. I'm thinking, would Goths spamming Man at Arms from multiple barracks be a good counter? The villagers can only be trained from 1 TC so eventually the Goths should overwhelm them.

Doing that means u r falling into his trap. I know this is dumb, but u can pick incas to even out the bonus ( u will win ), or play solid walling + tower defense till u can reach castle age. Knights + Rams will clean up this stupid strategy.
