Yeah, you gotta remember that in a low elo game, BOTH people are low elo AND human (presumably). Never underestimate the derpyness of a human, especially when they are low elo, cuz they are low elo for a reason. The games never over until the victory music plays.

When he saw them all with arms full of wood, it should have dawned on him.

@@chadpilled7913 when their arms are full, it means they haven't been able to drop off that resource. If you see roaming vills carrying wood, then they're desperate to drop it off or they would have done so. When red's lumbercamp was right there, yet his vills were roaming with arms full of wood, it should have been apparent to blue that this was red's last lumbercamp and that he also had no TC. Blue needed to destroy red's lumbercamp and it's game over right there. This is because with less than 100 wood, red can't build a new lumbercamp and ultimately he cannot get the resources to build a new TC. Even though they had arms full of wood, their side doesn't get credited with wood until they drop it off. If you can eliminate the drop off points before he can deposit his wood, he's screwed.

You didn't drop towers at their base did you? If not; huge congrats on your first extreme AI win!

@@DaneRossenrode that's why I wrote regular game. But I rewatched the game and found out that my fireships kept on killing farmers 11 So still an AI bugging out but hey progress :)

@@DaneRossenrode Yep, with a little practice tower rush can kill the AI very reliably, much more easily than a regular meta strat. Hoang strat also tends to require less perfection.

Yeah, but its 900 elo tho. Granted i have encoutered some aggro guys on 700 elo and i do some aggro huns sometimes myself

I actually played aoe2 in 99 a bit when it came out but I don't remember much coz I was 13 at the time and didn't know wtf I was doing :)) my main game was red alert 2 and I do remember cheesing with korean fighter jets =)) and iraqi apocalypses and desolators, but that one took more micro because you could run over your own desolators :p

Just hard to get in the same game in ranked 900 ELO, so many players, but if you keep queueing at the same time you will eventually get there I guess.

Persians for the stronger TC, fast start and all-wood archers appeals, but the problem is getting the castle up.

i am blue and i was just trying out a strat at 15xx on my alt.. aoe nexus seems bugged. my rating playing meta is 16xx :)

If you find them, and you kill them, yes. But the AI can micro every unit individually, so the chances are low. And I think they build their TC immediately.

AI has effectively unlimited APM and awareness soooo :p
